The unidentified man appears to be high on acid or synthetic drugs in the video clip filmed on Monday evening near the intersection of Grace Street and Drake Avenue in the Irving Park community.

The footage begins by showing the man, who is bleeding heavily from his crotch, shouting nonsense and swearing at residents who are behind a large metal gate.

Witnesses can be heard screaming 'calm down' before he charges toward a female Chicago Police Department officer who is standing in the middle of the intersection.

The man is screaming 'get outta here b****' at the female officer, who quickly draws her taser as she shouts at him to 'get on the ground' before firing it at him.

The man, who appears to be in his 20s, falls to the ground.

The person filming the harrowng video can be heard shouting, 'Oh my God, bro. Shoot his a**. Shoot that mother f****r. This is a time when you shoot people!'.

I saw it elsewhere less censored. In fact, I don't remember that articles mentioning his penis amputation. So I'm sure if you go searching for it, you can find an uncensored version.

He is lucky that the police didn't shoot him. This is another case as to "why" did he cut his penis off, if this story really is true. We've seen this happen multiple times over the years, men get high on something and they cut their penises off. The question is, "Did they have this desire to cut it off before they got high? Was getting off on some drug a way for them to remove the last obstacle of their desire? Or did the drug cause their mind to react negatively towards their penises and give them some demented mental reason for cutting it off." Years ago, back in the early 90's, I first heard of a man high on cocaine who cut his penis off. After the cocaine wore off and he realized what he had done, he committed suicide. But why would a drug entice a man or push a man to cut his penis off? I suspect the desire to cut off their penises was already something that they wanted to do and getting high removed their last inhibition. Anyways, I suspect that if they found his penis, they probably did not try to reattach it. We'll find out eventually. I also have heard many stories of men cutting off their penises, way back in the stone age when I was in college and I was taking an EMT certification course, the text book specifically addressed this problem. "Often the patient has flushed the amputated penis and testicles down the toilet, in these cases re-attachment is obviously impossible....." That was a text book in 1983, and many such stories circulated among police, corrections and mental health professionals, but the drug causing the behavior was always phenocycledine (PCP, "angel dust," "animal tranquilizers" or the trade name ""Ketamine"). Park rangers and game wardens had used "Ketamine" in their tranquilizer dart guns to sedate and capture "bad bears" in camping areas, but after using it for a few years they noticed that any bear that had been darted with Ketamine, once it was revived it was extremely violent and almost always would have more incidents with people and would always end up forcing the rangers to have to kill it.

It just seems odd and strange that it's a drug induced penectomy. What does the drug do that prompts them to cut off their penises? I have to believe that they all had a hidden desire before they started using. However, I guess some people high on drugs have cut off their ears, I have heard of that too and one woman high on cocaine cut her baby's fingers off, I still shudder about that one.
