The science (and dangers) of messing with norepinephrine levels to "shrink cock"

Post by SplitDik (imported) »

I'm seeing a lot of threads recently where drugs like Reboxetine (sold Edronax, Solvex etc) are recommended to prevent erections and effectively and quickly "shrink your dick".

First of all, this actually does work to prevent erections. I'll explain more below but basically norepinephrine is what your body produces in "fight or flight" mode and is why your dick will go extremely flaccid if you do things like strenuous exercise, get scared, let your body get cold, etc. Basically, when your body is in danger it decides that having an erection isn't a priority.

Wikipedia says "the general function of norepinephrine is to mobilize the brain and body for action."

So the problem is that norepinephrine also MESSES WITH JUST ABOUT EVERY OTHER SYSTEM IN YOUR BODY:

1) It tells your intestines to stop digesting and wants to empty your stomach. This is why the drug makes you nauseous, have diarrhea, etc. It is the same reason that people throw up after being frightened, or after strenuous exercise.

2) It tells your heart to pump faster and harder. Heart rate and blood pressure go up, just like when you're nervous or frightened. Heart medications like beta-blockers and alpha-blockers work by blocking norepinephrine so you can imagine it is not good to increase it. Norepinephrine is injected in emergency rooms to raise blood pressure for those who have dangerously low blood pressure.

3) You sweat. Your body expects that physical activity may be required so gets ready.

4) Your brain goes into more basic preservation mode. You may actually feel "better" as it will be similar high to riding a roller coaster, but you will also have more trouble with logical thought, be more manic, have trouble sleeping, etc.

5) It controls urination. Just like when a person gets so scared they piss themselves, well, you'll piss yourself. A side effect of this is that you'll also ejaculate spontaneously -- similar to how people who are executed ejaculate just before it happens.

The section on Wikipedia regarding noepinephrine's relation to stress says it all "A significant part of the damage [of stress] is due to the effects of sustained norepinephrine release, because of norepinephrine's general function of directing resources away from maintenance, regeneration, and reproduction, and toward systems that are required for active movement."

So, please don't take these drugs long term. It is putting all systems of your body under intense stress. Yes it causes cock shrinkage but that is because it is preparing your body for life-and-death situations. If you're going to use them, use them only very occasionally just for fun. But please be careful.

Yes, everybody who takes it should hear of his bodysignals. Anybody has no problems with this stuff and others are in very bad condition with it.

I'm in the second group and don't use it longer then one pill from time to time.

Yes, very very bad sleeping on me is a symptom what very good match with the points which splitdik wrote above.

Thanks for the info splitdik, I agree that everyone needs to be careful when taking unprescribed medicines etc

I've been on Edronax for almost 2 months now and I can honestly say that from all the listed side effects (apart from the desired shrinkage, PE) I've not really had any other side effects. I've had a couple of ball aches, a little bit of sleep loss during the first week, but other than that, I seem to be okay.

Despite that, I only ever saw Edronax as a 'quick fix' for me, and I'll be stopping them as soon as my Triptorelin arrives (which better be soon because I'm going crazy waiting!) 👌
