Castration parties and the risk involved (at Paolo's request...)

I recently posted on a closed thread a response about why castration parties are a bad idea. I'll ask at the beginning that nobody post links to any websites other than those known to be connected directly with the Eunuch Archive (EA) on this thread.

I am not opposed to a castration party in a legitimate, sterile, and responsible environment. However, this would necessitate a legitimate doctor being involved. This means a bonafide, government licensed to perform surgeries and practice medicine, doctor. Yes, that's going to be damn near impossible to make happen.

I also mentioned I will not get in the way of what is being planned. I stand by that statement. After 20 years of community involvement I am, frankly, getting tired of working to save people from themselves. I get yelled at by wankers, grouched at by the organizers, and generally it's a bigger pain in my ass than getting fisted. Want to do all these inadvisable things? Have at it! I won't stop you, but I'll definitely say I told you so when you get out of the hospital and/or jail.

As for the castration party, back in late 2005 I was castrated by a cutter. I no longer condone doing this. There are plenty of good legitimate doctors who will help a man get castrated, and even one that will do it without a letter. Simply put, there are options now that did not exist back in 2005 when I had my testicles removed. Though my castration went off without any problems (no infections, no hospital visit, generally no issue whatever), the same could not be said of my cutter. He got arrested about 4 months after he castrated me. I was directly told by the police they were treating me as a victim. They also said they could charge me with conspiracy, which left me wondering, am I victim or am I complicit in a crime? We all know conspiracy is what they throw at people to make them talk, and frankly at the time, I didn't know any better. I shouldn't have talked. That said, I did interview with the police.

My cutter ended up in prison for over a year. His housemates also ended up in prison but for slightly shorter terms. To this day I'm convinced they were not involved at all beyond knowledge that their "master" was doing this in the house. They were not present for my castration, and the others I spoke with that were also castrated by this man said they were not present at theirs. Still, the charges stuck, and these innocent people ended up in jail.

Why? I didn't turn them in. The other men who were castrated (and one penectomized) by him didn't turn him in. We were all happy with what he did for and to us. No, a jealous ex lover turned him in. This same person also gave the courtesy of writing down the license numbers of all the cars that came to visit the home related to this subject. Basically, his desire to create a problem for his former lover not only did that, it created a tremendous headache for the willing participants whom didn't have a relationship with him. Basically, another persons want and desire to carry out malicious spite on one person, wasn't narrowly targeted to only impact the person who was the object of their ire. He didn't care the rest of us were involved, regardless of the fact we treated him fairly and with respect.

Regardless of the fact we gave our consent, it was still a crime in the eyes of the law. Just because you don't think it should be doesn't make the case for it being otherwise legal. Therefore, District Attorneys, prosecutors, defense counsel, police, detectives, etc. all descended on us.

So, if you wish to participate in such things, feel free. Just realize this is the risk you're taking. As for the person advertising this party to happen in the UK... My position is they are being FAR too public with it. He's already had emergency services to his own address for this twice on two people. I feel it is only a matter of time before they say enough is enough. One "I cut off my dick" call from an address is a curiosity... 2 or more over many weeks/months raises suspicion.
