After much time and consideration, I have decided that I definitely want to proceed straight away with an orchiectomy.

Thank you for your replies, and the advice you have given me so far. I think that chemical castration would not be the most suitable step for me. I think that I will be most healthy and happy going through with an orchiectomy.

I have a GP appointment on the 8th May (soonest I could get), I have questions already jotted down that should sufficiently elucidate to me what the NHS can do for me. I will update you all on what comes out from that appointment.

So, in the meantime, I would like to start considering HOW I can become physically castrated. I would prefer to have it done by a proffesional, in a clean environment, and in the UK. I am very unsure about doing something by myself. Notwithstanding my fear of flying, I would still be willing to travel to, I guess, anywhere in the world to recieve this procedure. But the closer to the UK, and if I can reach such place by land/sea, would be preffered. Enlighten me then please, my options that best meet my demands

It is not so difficult to find a doctor who'd prescribe you libido reducing drugs. It was much easier for me than expected. They will at first try 'lighter' things like antidepressants and neuroleptics that have lowering libido as a side-effect, but Cyproterone and GnRH agonists are an option, too. Just give it a try before getting physically castrated.

So I had the consultation with my local GP. Had a slight panic attack on going in, so I had a few moments to recover. I came clean with everything that I have told you lot on here. When I'm anxious I do tend to digress a bit, and I did so with my mental health, which probably didn't do me any favours.

It was kind of funny though when I said "essentially my problem is that I'm just a wanker". He humourously smiled at that!

But he said (as you all on here knew, as did I before even going in), that the NHS is not going to give me an orchiectomy. And given everything I had said, he said that his hands were tied now that I had told him about this, in regards to the fact that I am going to be reffered to a psychosexual therapist. To which I said that would be a waste of NHS resources. I told him that I am certain that having psychological therapy isnt going to help me here as this is too embedded in me. And besides the addictive wanking issue I have, there is definitely a physical problem (Chronic Epididymal Hypertension), which is what is forcing me to resume wanking and thus keep me in this pattern of relapse-addictive recovery-relapse-addictive recovery-relapse-etc.

He also said, much better to hear, that I will be reffered to a urologist for the physical problems. I said, which he confirmed, that this is good as I can probably have a good chance of getting TRT, topical creams, and analgesics prescribed by the urologist for when I do get myself an orchiectomy. He said that if he doesn't refer me to the psychosexual shrink, then the urologist will, so I just said fair enough and went along with it despite my aforementioned protestations about such a thing.

He advised me not to go abroad to get an orchiectomy as there are persons out there just trying to get a quick buck, and that it would be dangerous. I expected this, but of course, what he said has not deterred me.

The bloods I had a few weeks ago somehow were not able to show the testosterone ng/dl in my blood. So I was given another session to have more bloods from me (yesterday); so I am now waiting for a call back to the GP to discuss the testosterone results and my auspicious referral to a urologist, but my also inauspicious referral to a shrink.

Still trying to find a place to get ma balls chopped off for less than what Dr Arnkoff can do it for. Is there anyone in Thailand whom is still doing orchiectomies?
