I'm already seeing a Therapist regularly but he's been on Vacation for the last 2 weeks and my increased desire in stoping my Libido just started very recently. So I plan to talk with him about this next week. I'm looking at Meds and Herbs that might help. I'm so Glad I came here I've only been here a few days but I've processed alot. I mean I was first thinking of a Full Nullification but I'm now down to drugs and Herbs to help me. Thank You all who have commented. Any suggestions when it comes to Drugs and Herbs? Experiences?? Good Bad??

I've been reading about Chasteberry.. While I believe I have a low Libido compared to some of the guys I've been reading about.. These guys lust after a beautiful woman at first sight.. I do not.. They have reported in a lessoning of sexual desire taking this stuff.. They went from masturbating everyday to once a week.. I'm already at once a week so I'm hoping it will work for me. I'm gonna be buying some this Friday with my paycheck. I hope this works for me. I posted a question about Chasteberry in the Hormone and Chemical Castration section.

Ive done more research on Chasteberry and it appears that it does not effect sex drive at all.. actually I read reports that women say they have an increase in sex drive while on it. So the Article I read at first which was a testimony must be wrong. Several sites say it does not effect sex drive. My next idea is SSRI's.

I've been scouring the Internet for OTC Drugs, Herbs, and Prescription Drugs that can help with lowering the Libido. I'm appaled at some of what I have seen. Other Forums other then this of men seeking to lessen their sex drive because they feel it is wrong are being attacked by other men who think it's right. It Upsets me when they say "Just get Married." Like that is some easy thing to do. Then others who are like "just jerk off it's fun." They have NO understanding of a man who does not want sex. It upsets me..

I think it's good that you're seeing a therapist. When someone says he habitually does something he doesn't want to do and considers a drastic, expensive, painful, and irreversible act to stop his habit, I fear that there will be regrets down the line, because he may not be getting to the root cause of the problem. A good therapist can help you sort out how much of the problem is between your legs and how much is between your ears. If, after you've carefully thought through the underlying cause of the issue you have with masturbation, you conclude that a chemical or surgical solution is the most appropriate solution, there are many here who can advise on the best ways to proceed. Best wishes for whatever you decide to do.

I am one of the few Born Again Christians on this forum. I can here out of a desire to become a Eunuch because I realized that as Christian Homosexuality was wrong. I fell in love with another Born Again Christian who became a Eunuch here. But he was so sure he wanted to be with this guy who was Buddist and all messed up in his thinking. I became a Eunuch and I am very happy with no T. Yes, I have gained weight, yes I have lot strength. But I no longer have any homosexual ideas whatsoever. I live with a Eunuch but he does not have the religious ideals as I have and it is a struggle. I am made fun of, I am told I do everything wrong, he takes great joy and putting me down. So it is a mistake. I can't walk out of it. I am where I am. I should have done different. So make sure this is what you really want to do with your life. Test it in every way possible. I was pushed into things and I should not have allowed that to happen. Just make triple sure this is what you really want to do.

Actually I am Buddhist by belief. I do accept certain Christian like beliefs. Like I said I feel that lusting after someone without their concent is mental rape in my eyes. While Porn helps out with that belief because the people in porn know damn well they are being mastubated to so there is a concent there. But I dont like masturbating period. There was a time I only did it once every few months and I was VERY happy with that.. I would be even happier if I didnt at all. I'm 43 years old I'm starting to feel like I'm never gonna meet the right girl. I know that when I'm 55 I'm almost certain I will not find someone. I think I will go for the permenant solution then. I see my Therapist monday and I'm bringing this issue up with him. He's been on Vacation and I finaly see him on Monday. These Idea's came to me the day after he went on Vacation. I decided to research this before I make any choices thats why I joined this site. I'm already looking into Herbal/Chemical alternatives.
