For all the good that the movie can do with a reasonably positive portrayal of a main character who is autistic, it is grossly tempered by the fact that he keeps books for the bad guys and is a hired assassin. And yes again, the violence can be too much.
However, in the world of asinine garbage like "Kingsman" and "Olympus or London has Fallen" and a number of other movies, THE ACCOUNTANT stands out with a plot and a more than cardboard characters.
added: as much as people like those very, very fast and very ,very involved car chase movies with the fast and furious action -- there's no substance to those things but car chases and stunts. It's popcorn for the eyes, cotton candy for the brain
