TRT stands for Testosterone Replacement Therapy. This is usually prescribed to men with low T, to castrated men or to transgenders (FtM). Androcur, finasteride and others similar drug are testosterone blockers also known as anti androgen. Androgens are male hormones. All hormones are there to keep us healthy. Some men desire to be castrated to lower their libido, therefore the use of anti androgen or physical castration. The health issues that will arise from the lack of sexual hormones can be pretty harsh. Therefore most men after physical castration will use TRT or Hormone Repalcement Therapy (HRT) which are usually female hormone to alleviate the castration side effects. With the physical health issues come also mental health issues. Most castrated men not on TRT will experience depression which could lead them to commit suicide. Castration is very powerful fantasy but as most fantasies none truly have to be enacted to give pleasure. If this your main fantasy and want to get it done, everyone here will suggest you to try chemical castration (anti androgen) first. Be aware that it may take few years before all the side effects kick in. In my case I started to feel them after 2 years and they have reached their peak after 5 years, I had no choice but to quit anti androgen, resort to TRT, anti depressants, anti inflammatories and it took 10 years to recover my health. Fantasy is one thing reality is something else. Castration is still my main fantasy. If I ever get castrated I'll use TRT right away not to bring back those side effects.
