Season 8, Episode 11:
The AV class pits Craig's animal show against the boys' news show. Craig has the highest ratings, but when the boys up their game and bust a cough medicine abuse scandal, their ratings soar and Craig fails the class.
The teacher recommends that Craig be castrated for failing.
Also, one gossip bit (a failed effort to up the news ratings) exposes one of the other boys as having only 1 testicle.
I'll have to search for this episode, considering that's the business I'm in.
Then there's also the Bris episode from the early years, where Ike is to be circ'd and the boys all decided they want one, as it will "make it look bigger."
I can remember a few years back BBC radio 1 had a slot in the afternoon show where you could text in your music choice and the most requested track would get played (Providing it had not been banned).
It was the afternoon on "Valentines Day" and the listeners came up with their priceless choice ......
"Chocolate Salty Balls" I must admit I laughed all the way home whilst it played on the radio.
Mystery of the Urinal Deuce, in which Mr. Mackey finds a turd in one of the urinals. Throughout the episode, he continues to come up with different names for it.
I was laughing so hard that I got the hiccups, which hasn't happened in years.
Eventually, Clyde is blamed for it. However, we are later told that Clyde couldn't have done it, as he had a colostomy at age 5.
The perp is later revealed to be Stan.
This also reveals a continuity error in Lice Capades, where we are shown Clyde naked in shower washing his head with RID, and he doesn't have a colostomy.
When the school enrolls several Asian girls, the art form Yaoi comes to South Park.
It is revealed that homosexuality in young boys is caused by Japanese girls.
Craig's father is initially freaked out, until the whole town embraces it, buying up Yaoi art both before and after the boys "break up". The breakup also plunges the town into a deep depression.
The producers solicited fans to send in their artwork to use on the show, and there's a great deal of it.
While it probably wasn't intentional, the scene with the mayor looking at pictures of the boys, then one of her husband, turns into a tear-jerker as she's later seen standing in the cemetery at his grave.
The subplot of Cartman imagining a miniature Cupid-Me, who goes around shooting love arrows and peeing in people's mouths, is best ignored, and the songs "Book of Love" and "Say Something" deserve full versions.
Even Jesus A. enjoyed this one, although South Park's Jesus does not appear in this episode. Tweek and Craig are also considered a canon couple from this episode on.
Who here could not love the KFC/Microwave Cancer/Medical Pot episode? After that one. we can all safely assume most of the men in South Park are Eunuchs!
I've seen every episode at least twice so yes, I am definitely a fan. My wife is confused as to why a middle aged man loves cartoons.
Well.... these days they sure beat the hell out of watching the news.
Throughout the history of the series, the thing with 'balls', or being kicked in the nuts, has tapered off and is hardly ever used anymore. It used to be one of the show's favorite devices.
Season 22 has been OK so far, and 21 was just mediocre.
It's widely regarded through the fandom that season 20 was a flop, and the creators have said that they'll never do anything like that again. (story arcs)
I'd have to go back and watch the episode "Medicinal Fried Chicken" again, but yes, it's shown that a big number of the men in South Park are indeed eunuchs, due to giving themselves testicular cancer in order to get prescriptions for pot.
