I keep having to reanalyze this one over and over again. Everywhere you go around Canada and peeps aren't as interested in this mega sale. Sure the USA has more variety but with the dollar being so low here it doesn't justify going on a road trip for a shopping spree unless you plan on going on an adventure, visiting family or friends. Do tell me what you guys think? The Xmas season always ends up being packed here, still you don't see the crazy campings or stampedes over here.
Local bestbuy had a boxxing sale and people walking in as normal. I haven't been many times as of late to the states. Is it crazy in your local vicinity? Any reported casulties?

I have no idea. I didn't go out to see.

I was in a few stores over the weekend for mundane purchases, but not at opening bell. Stores were crowded but sane.

I only got my winter gear which was more than I could ask for holidays. Namely a oakleys winter ski mask and wind guard anti-solar mask.
I plan on tobogganing. It could be im looking in wrong places for crowds or its all media hype. I do think people fighting over flat screen TV's and killing people is ridiculous and sad

I only bought a gloves which was cheaper than usually but nothing else. In my country the Black Friday is more like "Fake Lower Prices Friday". Usually shops rises they prices a month before then sell stuffs 5-15% more expensive and call it 30-50% "amazing" discount... Black Friday = Don't Buy Day
The only real time when you can get cheap stuffs is between the Christmas and New Year. You can find electronics, clothing, house decoration 90% off, more often.
But i saw the videos from around the World and I was shocked! Dayum, those are good prices indeed!

I never partake in Black Friday. Why would I go out to save 20% on something with a 150% markup to begin with? One of the reasons brick and mortar has issues these days is because Internet allows comparison shopping without having to drive to 50 places to do it. And often you'll find a better deal there without having to deal with the crowds.
The only thing I've ever considered doing is dressing up in a bear suit and going out at 3AM to rustle the tents of the morons camped out to get a useless trinket for 50% off.

Nowadays that would probably get you shot. Likely not a good idea.

Better than dressing up as a clown!

If they're willing to camp out to get a $300 TV for $100, they likely don't have enough money for a gun, much less ammo.
