I am sort of getting into the baddie in this season the guy playing his part is putting on a strong performance and getting into character .

Okay I guess at some time he is going to get it.. but the series will loose some strong acting when he does.

He's a strong actor and the part is played well... However, I'm just hoping that he meets his maker sooner rather than later.

I'm not "good" on the "bad guy killer" types this year. More has weighed on me than what anyone has read or heard in the news.

I do understand Negan the psychopathic maniac and I do see his storyline as opposed to the Rick Grimes storyline.

It had to be the fan favorites that got whacked, we could have made it Eugene and Carl. *ugh*

Episode 8 - HEARTS STILL BEATING

It's a good episode. Better than some of the previous ones.

I don't know .I wasn't paying attention to his hair in the last season.

Its just that he has had a bit of a hard time over the past 8 weeks.

I guess we are now into the mid season break now.

i've read the comics since long before the show was even a possibility so i know where this is going. having said that this is the first season where i've enjoyed the comics more than the series. i can't put my finger on why, but it just didn't translate well on to screen. this was not my favorite series in the comics so maybe that has something to do with it too.

I read this yesterday and there is a part of this interview of Chuck Palahniuk who wrote Fight Club. He explains in shortwhy a graphic novel might work to present a situation or idea and why that same situation might not work well in a movie.

Fight Club 2 and Fight Club 3 are graphic novels and not like the original text novel. I haven't read them yet but the author (Chuck Palahniuk) supplies an answer.

I've not read THE WALKING DEAD graphic novel mostly because I had to spend too much money on house repairs and didn't have the extra cash to by over 100 pieces or the compilations. I do know from the discussion on THE TALKING DEAD that the TV story has departed from the novels in a rather significant ways. But this storyline might follow the books. Also, Chandler Riggs is starting college so he might not have time for the show.

As for Negan and his Lucille, As I said at the start of this thread (I hope I did) the level of evil, of pure rottenness, and sociopathic cruelty crossed a line. Many people think Negan as a multifaceted character while I see nothing but a one-dimensional psychopath bent on killing whenever he wishes and justifying that cruelty as a "new world order in the apocalyptic age."

I haven't watched it since the first episode. It seems Carl is through with the series after this year since he's been accepted to Auburn next year. Chandler Riggs father tweeted something about "7 years done and finally freedom" when they wrapped shooting this year. So along with Chandler's tweet about Auburn and his dad's tweet most local people think Carl is gone at the end of the year. Also Negan has apparently been signed for season 8 so count on him being around for a while.
