I've been searching for a comprehensive thread on this. Can anyone help me out? I'm specifically curious about bandin

g testicles, not the penis.
A Quote from Uncle Flo "Some people have banded for play for years without problems, some people have banded for play once and had nothing but problems for ever after. Banding as a recreational matter or as a serious move towards castration is not to be undertaken without doing your homework and being aware of the possibility of a result that is not what you desired. Be cautious, know what you are d
oing and, if you can after learning all that, have fun. --FLO--"
What has not been mentioned is that after a few minutes there is pain. Depending on your anatomy your could damage your testicles. If you planing on leaving the band on to castrate your self, it can be done but its more than just banding. If you jest band you could end up DEAD. The old BME site did have postings on how to.....
Even short-term (minutes) of banding can cause permanent problems. I banded my hubby's testicles just for play once, leaving the band on for a very short time just to give him a thrill. He ended up with spermatoceles--hard lumps in his scrotum that don't go away. The largest feels almost like a third testicle, albeit smaller and lumpy. We haven't tried it since and don't plan to.
From my experience, the scrotum skin starts to burn until you just can't take it. If you use elastrator bands, do yourself a favor and wrap the area with something that keeps the bands from pinching the skin and makes it easier and less painful to cut the bands.

Sandi
I'm with Sandi here.
Lets say every time you band 1% or 2% of the ability of produce testosterone is lost forever.
At the time you may not notice it but when you get to say 50 or 60 years old (Average loss of testosterone by this time about 40%-60% less than early 20's)
then I guess you will.
Its just a theory I'm putting out there and is not backed up by any medical facts.

OneBallBoi. I did a double take when I saw your post. Welcome back!
I tried the banding thing, the injection thing and both caused unbelievable amounts of pain. This coming from a Vietnam vet who walked out of the bush on a broken ankle.
Don't try it.
I did something else that was equally stupid, but ultimately worked. It also landed me in psych eval for a few days.
Don't try it.
Best way is to find Dr. Arnikov (Is he still doing no-note orchies?).
Alternatively, find a sympathetic psychologist to write a note and take that to Dr. A. or someone closer. Who knows? Maybe during your conversations, you might find out something about why you want to become a eunuch.

Without going over my often told story again, the everclear injections worked well enough for my urologist, who I have the utmost confidence in, to agree to castrate me in the operating room of a local hospital. No going to someone with less than a sterling reputation in an office somewhere. I healed in the amount of time I was told it would take without any complications. No regrets.
You may have broken the skin but If there is normal sensation within the banded area, then best guess without seeing it, would be that this will go away within the next day or two.
You may get a scab form on any broken skin.
That said if it does not seem to be healing then see a Doc.
