Subcapsular vs Simple castration ...

I found a doctor who will perform either subcapsular or simple castration on me for $1,500 under local anesthesia.

My question is, has anybody experienced a subcapsular castration? What was the appearance of the testis afterwards? Where you happy with the results? What would be the downside of getting a subcapsular castration?

I have not experienced a subcapsular castration, I have experienced castration. It depends on what you want. Do you want empty remnants of hollowed out non-functioning testicles that will shrivel to almost nothing over time anyways or do you want to be free of your testicles? I looked into subcapsular castration years ago, but to me it's just a money making scheme to maintain some cosmetic look that won't last. Subcapsular castration IS castration. It completely guts the testicles, leaving them an empty shell which probably do indeed shrink and retract to nothing over time. To me having my testicles completely gutted leaving useless shrivelled stumps is almost a more powerful form of becoming a eunuch than simple castration. After the surgery (which really is a mutilation of the testicles) i will always be reminded that the hollowed out empty stumps in my shrunken scrotum used to produce testosterone but are now just the shrivelled vines of my formerly ripe grapes. Cost wise for me it is identicle to simple castration. In terms of cost it will be done in a nearby foreign country under sterile professional conditions. I opted for local numbing rather than being out to sleep to save money.

The advantage could be the nerves are not cutted and there is no evtl. chronic nerve pain from cutting after it.

I've never experienced any chronic nerve pain from my castration. Still have chords that are shriveled, but no pain. Sorry if you do.

ea, if you think having the shriveled testicles will remind you that they once produced testosterone, go for it. This is the first I can remember of anyone wanting to have that memory or reminder. For me, not seeing anything or feeling anything is what I wanted to experience and have. Knowing that they were being cut off, priceless.

I can understand that point of view, and at this point I could go either way. I guess there is something to having a completely empty sac. I have been reachung out to several urologists, and actually just found one who will perform full castration or subcapsular for $1,450, including aneasthesia (don't know if its local or general, I definitely only want local, especially in a foreign country). What I am discovering is that anybody that wants their overactive libido fixed, especially if you say you are seeing a therapist for it, can easily be castrated just south of the border by several competent urologists. Anyways, I am open to suggestions if anyone feels strongly one way or the other about subcapsular or simple (complete) castration.

I know I had one totally destroyed testicle and one gone for a while and it isn't the same I couldn't wait and was so glad when the second was gone. I since a short while after removing either testicle never had pain but there was pain with the destroyed testicle till removed.
