My question is this: What does a file on eunuch.org have to do with data stored on archive.org ?
If it goes looking for that /alpha/ directory, it's not going to find it.
So we'd be talking about downloading the robots.txt file from the eunuch.org directory, removing that line, and then replacing robots.txt on eunuch.org's server with the edited file?
Admittedly, I haven't been paying too much attention to this discussion, because as the old saying goes, "It's Greek to me."

Paolo Archive.org checks the most current robots.txt in order to show or not the previous versions. As long as you keep /Alpha/ in the file we will not able to access the old stories.
If it is removed we have all the stories backed up there. Nothing is lost.
I thought this was done on purpose, and was planning to offer money for removal, but I see another member already has offered this but his request was not answered properly.
If you remove /alpha from robots.txt we would be really glad.
