Orchiectomy by 30 y.o.
I've been wanting to get rid of my testes for a long time. In the past few years I've read a lot about it and I know its positive and negative aspects that I'm willing to face. My real gender is much more feminine than masculine so it may also turn out to be the first step into my transition to a female self ,a process that is best when done young.
Therefore I think that in a few years, before turning 30, I will do it. Right now I'm optimistic and I'd say that I want them gone by no more than 18 months from now.
What do you think? Reading opinions is going to help me make the decision.

Why not? If you feel it would better for you.
For options, take a look on alcohol teste injections (not CaCl, what could be very dangerous!).
But at first, try out chemical castration or female hormone supplement, if you like that.

I'm happy that you have such a good idea of where you want to be and when you want to get there.
As mentioned in the last post it may a good idea to get on the hormone therapy first (Anti androgens and female HRT) so that any subsequent surgery won't screw your hormones up too much afterwards.

what do you mean?
I'm not sure if I'm going to start with female hormones right after the surgery but if I will start them right away will I encounter problems?
I'm not interested in chemical because what I want is to physically remove the testes.

Use it as a test about you are will feel without the balls.
Could be you dislike it, so you can go back to start.
With a snip, you can't go back if you don't like it.
Use female hormones before castration. The effect will be the same like without balls.

Re: Orchiectomy by 30 y.o.
I seriously suggest you try a period, say 6-12 months of chemical castration to get some real experience of the consequences of castration before going permanent. I did a test run of Androcur which lasted only 2 months but worked effectively on me. I did not care about my balls, my cum dried up,erections disappeared and became almost impossible to achieve. Even precum dried up. Initially I was able to ejaculate after a long period of masturbation without ejaculate. I lost interest in getting aroused and stopped visiting online sites. I am sure if I continued, my testicles and penis would have stayed in their shrunken state and perhaps gotten even smaller. It was about as close as you can get to complete physical castration and still be able to end it. It took a month plus to return to "normal"
I hope this helps you in reaching a decision.

isn't 6 months more than enough to become sterile? what's the point in not doing it already then?
I want to use my penis, chemical make no sense to me, maybe I should try hrt first, that make sense
thanks for all the replies

Yes, try hrt and see, how it is working for you.
I already do the same at time.

I do not profess to be an expert (or even close to one) on the subject of hrt. I do know that there is a lot of negative issues with all form of chemical, hrt and steroids. The disclosure documents plus the various side effect blogs can create concerns.
As far as 6 months on Androcur causing permanent sterility, i believe it is only at high dosages the the risk increases. A 100 mg for two weeks followed by 50 mg daily will bring the desired results for most. The recovery time to previous T levels may be as long as the period you are on Androcur. But as had been stated many times, your mileage may vary.
I think the important part regardless of the path chosen is not to rush into anything that is permanent without careful analysis and awareness of the consequences.
