Duh, Time Warner
I contacted Time Warner via the Internet today to inform them my phone was not working (no dial tone). After suggesting several things which did not work, the technician said he would sent out phone repair tomorrow from 8:00 - 9:00 am. He further said the tech would call before he came out. I said, "Duh". "How can you call if my phone is NOT working?" I told them I had no cell phone. They then said, "tech will not call." I said goody.

Re: Duh, Time Warner
It sort of sounds like BT (British Telecom) they are a waste of space..The only way you can talk to a Human Being is through the sales desk.
When the Olympics was on my internet went down the toilet (Same as it did when the London Olympics were on) I complained like hell but no one had the balls to tell me that they had sold my bandwidth.
Giving them the sack when this quarter has expired.
Hope you are able to do the same with your provider.

Not really. I went to Time Warner because they were charging me only $62 a month for telephone and Internet. Verizon wanted $93 for the same two services.

Re: Duh, Time Warner
Your letter prompted me to contact a smaller provider "Zen Internet" over here to take over my internet and phone contract at the start of the next quarter.
They don't throttle your bandwidth when streaming and don't block sites like Movies 2K or G2GFM. but it costs a little more.
So If it all goes quiet from me then you know its all gone horribly wrong.
