19 yr. old diagnosed with testicular cancer

If any of you follow NASCAR you might know who Shawna Robinson is. Her 19 yr. old son was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer. He had surgery and now chemo. The article didn’t say if it was both testicles but did mention multiple tumors.

Well that's sad. Poor kid, he didn't have the chance to really experience his sexuality. Hopefully, he'll still be able to enjoy an active sex life unless he's not allowed to use testosterone replacement. Then that would stink. Prayers for the family.

Most men who experience testicular cancer only do so in one testicle, rarely in both. As a general rule testicular cancer survivors are not banned from testosterone supplements.

I have a cousin who has had it in both but at different times. His first one was long gone by the time it evolved in the the second one.

That's a terrible thing to have happen at any age, but right before your 20th birthday. Just tragic. I hope he's doing well.

Its a bit early in life to have to suffer a scare like this.

I hope the cancer was found in good time and this is the end of it.

I believe this is one of the more treatable forms of cancer so he should go on to lead a full normal life afterwards.
