Actual field reports of a castration vacation?

I've been following the Eunuch Archive forums for a while now. It's pretty common for people to recommend Thailand or India as an option to get a "hassle-free" surgical castration. Somewhat along the lines of "just go to Thailand, if you really want it". I was wondering if there are any first-hand experiences of people who went through with that idea (doesnt' necessarily have to be in India or Thailand). I'm looking for answers along the lines of:

What was it like?

Was it really hassle-free?

Which country did you go to?

How much was the cost?

How did you make the payment for such a (presumably) considerable amount of money?

How did you explain your desire to the doctor(s) performing the procedure?

How did you explain the result with your doctor(s) back home?

What exact procedure did you get?

Are you happy with the result?

Note that I'm not condoning or condemning this in any way. Nor do I necessarily plan to go through with this myself. I am simply curious to what extent this is actually a real option. Also, feel free to skip any of the questions if you feel they are uncomfortable to answer or might give away too much. I'm basically grateful for anything that you are willing to answer.
