Estrogen with progestin supplements have been used to reduce problems during and after menopause, such as weakened bones.
The FDA now wants a new boxed warning -- the highest level of warning information in labeling -- on the product boxes to point out the risks and emphasizes individualized doses that appropriately balance the benefits and the potential risks of these products.

HALF the study has been halted. The other half, of women on Premarin ONLY, is still in progress. This should be of interest to the eunuch community, since some of us choose to take low levels of estrogen to ward off hot flashes and hopefully reduce the chancces of osteoporosis.
(I am one of those, currently on 2.5 MG Premarin daily. As far as I can tell, I have had no changes from the eunuch calm I had just before starting the HRT.)
