It was five years

ago today I laid back on the surgeons table and had my penis and empty scrotum

amputated, ushering in my life as a nullo. I have not for a minute regretted having my genitals removed, and will always maintain it is the single best gift I ever gave myself. It led to a bit of frustration in dating, but it had a pleasant side effect - it got rid of the casual folks and sent higher quality men to me. Today I'm engaged to one of those higher quality guys. :hearthrob

To my knowledge, I was the first in the US who was allowed to go through a nullification procedure legitimately, with all doctors and other care givers providing that care without obscuring that it was all voluntary. Back then I thought this would remain difficult to achieve for others who need it, I never imagined that 5 years later it would be as readily available, at least in the US, as it is today.

I look forward to celebrating more nulloversaries, not only for myself, but for those men who are also nullos and those still waiting to become one.

Congratulations! Good news it turned out well for you. It's indeed amazing what progress was made in making nullification available since. Things are not perfect yet, but improved a lot.

Btw, today it's my 2 month nulloversary and I don't have any regrets, also.

I am so happy for you. I not only became

and the marriage was the happiest days of my life until he passed away three years ago next month. Hang onto and cherish what you have. I doubt that true love happens more than once in our lives but if it does? I'll take a second round.
