Castration
I've heard of people who were Chemically or Surgically castrated to kill sexual desires and without being on any hrt, made them feel like they lose interest in everything and not want to do anything, I recently read two posts on here about how your brain adapts or gets used to the changes that castration did to you, and you become your old self again with time, has anyone experienced this?

Re: Castration
I think things vary person to person. If you were a sex addict, you may suddenly find yourself bored because all that porn surfing and reading erotic stories suddenly seems rather mundane. You will need to find new hobbies and look for new interests.
I started out coming here for the stories and avoided the forum but I haven't looked at the stories in years.

Re: Castration
There is a difference in what you read that is given as "fact" and is actually fact. Be aware of this.
As a man who has been castrated/nullified, I can tell you that castration can be one of two things for you, to varying degrees. If you were to want to become asexual, having your testicles removed will likely accomplish that so long as you do not take synthetic hormones after you do it.
If you do take hormones, things will be much like they have not changed for you, other than you will from that point be permanently sterile. Take horomones, you'll likely function as you do now.

Re: Castration
This is a good article that covers sex addiction, libido, prolactin, testosterone and dopamine. It explains scientifically how sex and masturbation effect the mind and body. BTW, you may benefit greatly by wearing a chastity cage and letting someone else keep the key. Much easier than castration. http://masculineheart.blogspot.com/2013 ... -kill.html

Re: Castration
After castration I thought I would become disinterested in sex and passive in nature. I actually became more assertive and decided I deserved better in life. I did not lose all interest in sex but no longer have enough sex drive to persue my interests. I had no idea I would be different than I thought I would be. No one can tell you who you may become but there are some commen effects.

Re: Castration
I've become much less interested in certain interests and hobbies that I had before, and I feel like I've become less ambitious in general, although not necessarily in a negative way. I almost never play music anymore and pretty much force myself to play in order to maintain the ability. I'd say about 6-8 months into taking testosterone blockers I kinda just stopped playing instruments for maybe like a year, and then started playing them again but not as frequently as before. I also used to always be in active bands that played weekly gigs and all that fun stuff, but I also stopped that entirely and I don't even want to do it anymore, even though I used to get a lot of enjoyment out of it and it was always something I was looking forward to.
I have also become less arrogant, which was a nice bonus. I feel like I'm a nicer person now, but I am less ambitious in my life goals. Now I don't even want to accomplish much. I'd be content working some simple job and living a simple life, living in a cabin in some small town in the middle of nowhere. My old self didn't come back, but I have shifted into a new normal.
As far as sex drive is concerned mine dropped off pretty gradually, but has stayed pretty low since, oftentimes pretty much nonexistent. Also it often feels like a chore to try to orgasm, which is kind of annoying but at the same time I don't mind not finishing at all. I am taking estradiol, so I can't speak for people who have no hormone replacement at all, but regardless my sex drive is virtually nonexistent compared to when I had normal levels of testosterone in my system. It's completely ignorable.
There are people who have done the same things as me and had totally different results, though. There is no way to know what will happen to you. I went into this being open to whatever possibilities, and I prepared and read up a lot on everything beforehand, but I was still surprised by exactly how things went.

This is very much how it seemed on no T. Not sure, but this seems typical if there can be such with great variation. Like you, it felt good. Maybe I'll return to no T, as I was nicer and life was more enjoyable!
