Actually he's shaving him, and getting him prepped for repair, I think. What gets me is that the wound isn't even seeping, much less bleeding,until the doctor trims that one loose bit of skin.

Considering the amount of manipulation they did (and the colour of the blood suggests the wound is relatively fresh) I am very surprised that there is not more bleeding. We often read here of the dangers of bleeding out if the penis is severed, I bleed more than this when I cut my self shaving!

Actually, if you look at most of the photos and news articles I post from around the world, in most countries (like China), the news seems to go right into the hospital bed and film the guy. He's usually lying there with bandages on his groin. Sometimes the guy is trying to hide his face. Yeah, basically you don't get privacy for your misfortune in most countries.
