Re: Effects of gnrh blockers
I use triptorelin. Pretty strong stuff but I have absolutely no side effects. Testosterone level is almost zero.

Yes, after one week the testo goes rapidely down and after week two it should near zero.
I have gorselosin here, but it is too heavy for me... if anyone need thet, please pn me (only europe).
I'm using Nandrolone et time and it has not all the bad sides of low testo.

I am using it to reduce my libido (main reason) and I dont feel male (secondary reason but not the indication). I am getting it from my doctor so I cant say if there are other ways to get it. Its definetly prescription only here in germany.

Re: Effects of gnrh blockers
Have you considered alternate methods such as cyproterone, spironolactone, biclautamide, etc.?
IIRC, gnrh blockers tend to be fairly expensive, am I correct?
If cost isn't an option I've heard good things about gnrh blockers, but I've had plenty of success with cyproterone myself. Do they have any benefits other than lesser side-effects and liver strain?

Yes you are correct.

gnrh blockers are also a lot stronger. You would have to take about 200mg Androcur a day or more to have a similar effect. That would have a lot of dangerous side effects.

From what I have seen so far, people on this site vastly underestimate the power of cyproterone/androcur. The dosages I see you guys taking and calling "effective" are way higher than I'm used to seeing in my typical circles, even though both groups have the same exact goal - chemical castration. 50mg/day of cyproterone is more than sufficient for nuking your testosterone levels, for most people. 200mg is almost unheard of in my experience, aside from prostate cancer patients and such things. I even know people who take 12.5mg (a quarter of a pill) every two days and still have nuked testosterone, and a good number taking 25mg/day. I'd say 50mg/day would be the standard dosage for our needs, and anything more than that is overkill for most people. I do know one person who has to take 100mg/day to nuke their testosterone, but that is fairly rare from what I've seen.
If you can afford the gnrh blockers, sure, they are very nice. However my main point is that there are cheaper and more easily obtainable meds that will do the job just fine, and in fact these cheaper and more easily obtainable meds are the ones being used most often for peoples testosterone blocking needs. They have loads of information available on them compared to gnrh blockers, and their safety and risks are very well known. If the maker of this thread is planning on doing this without medical supervision, perhaps it is best for them to go with the road more traveled and have as much information available to them as possible to help them do this with as little risk as possible.
At 50mg/day cyproterone also isn't so bad in regards to its liver strain, and if you're healthy and aren't straining your liver in other ways, it tends to be handled pretty well. Regardless of what meds someone takes, if you're suppressing your testosterone for a long time with meds, i.e. have no plans of stopping, then it's a good idea to get the balls removed within a few years anyway, purely so your body has to process less medicine. Even if you're using gnrh blockers.

Re: Effects of gnrh blockers
I had my testosterone level monitored on cyproterone and it was still pretty high on it (100mg - still about half of the minimum normal blood level). Only triptoreline managed to lower it to almost zero.

Wow, that's crazy. I can see why you'd want to use other meds at that point for sure. You must have had some pretty robust t production going on lol. At 50mg/day of cyproterone my testosterone levels are very nuked, a little below typical female levels in fact. Took a couple months to get there though.
