Chinese man discovers his genitals are ROTTING after wife laces his underpants with toxic chemicals after an argument
Man in Hangzhou, China, had his underpants sprayed with pesticides
His wife added the toxins before handing him the underwear as a gift
The man surnamed Zhang realised his genitals had started to rot
He was hospitalised spending two weeks in intensive care
A Chinese man was hospitalised for three weeks after discovering that his genitals had been slowly rotting.
According to reports, the man's underpants had been gifted by his wife and were laced with toxic chemicals.
The man surnamed Zhang and his wife, both from Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang province had been quarreling before he was hospitalized.
A bottle of Paraquat: The man in China had his underpants laced with this toxic substance by his wife
According to Hangzhou.com.cn, the man did not realise what his wife had done until he found his genitals putrefying.
He also suffered from breathing difficulties.
Zhang was rushed to hospital where he spent two weeks in intensive care followed by a week in the burns unit.
He has since been discharged.
Doctors discovered that his underpants had been covered in paraquat, a toxic chemical used as a herbicide.
Zhang spent two weeks in intensive care after he realised his gentials were rotting
According to Ren Zhangmo, a doctor at the Second Hospital of Zhejiang Medical Emergency Medicine, 'If immediately cleaned, there will not be a problem with herbicidal spraying pesticides'.
However the toxic substance which is odourless and colourless, stayed on the man's skin for some time.
The hospital also noticed that the man still has come difficulties breathing and doctors say he could encounter them for the rest of his life thanks to his wife's act.
Zhang's wife had allegedly wanted to get back at her husband for an earlier argument and had soaked his pants in the toxic substance before drying them in the sun.
She then handed them to her husband to wear on their daughter's wedding day.
Zhang's wife was arrested and police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
It's unclear if Zhang will file charges against his wife.

I do not believe this story. All Chinese women make absolutely wonderful, compliant wives. I bet she just washed them in the local river.
I think.

It does seem like like many other bogus hoaxes on the web posted on tabloid sites.

But I wonder how many EA members have a pair of shorts soaking in paraquat right now.

I read the word paraquat with fear. That's in commercial weed killer and it is a known killer. Horrible way to die.
I don't work with sodium cyanide either because I like my life.
Let me tell y'all something...
I worked 30 years as a chemical engineer dealing with coal-derived liquids and chemicals.
a) I spray nothing in my house -- no chemical anything. I have one cologne. I have scent-free fabric softeners, and my soaps are the blandest you can buy. Nothing that reeks of chemical smells or poisons or smell-killing stuff.
b) I chase down any bug that ventures in my house with a flyswatter. I make a game out of it.
c) I pull weeds out of the grass. It ain't hard.
No paraquat.

Re: Chinese man discovers his genitals are ROTTING
....
....My hubby used to track them down with rubber bands. He found that if the room is cool and the fly is lethargic, you can sneak up on it, hook the band on the tip of your left index finger, pull it back with your right hand, and let it go. He can reliably hit a fly from a foot away. However, a couple of months ago he saw an ad for a bug-a-salt (http://bugasalt.com/) and bought one. As luck would have it, we haven't had a fly in the house since, so he hasn't had a chance to try it out, but he's used it for target practice. If fly-hunting is your game, you might find one of these things amusing. Happy hunting!
