Six Months to a Year?

Post by bnabottom (imported) »

We have had a lot of great posts in the past few months by new eunuchs--guys who have given us detailed reports on their procedure and the immediate recovery. These have been very, very helpful and informative. What we could use more of are reports from six months or a year or two out. I think it is natural that a lot of eunuchs lose interest in coming here over time, but I would really like to hear from some of you with a little experience under your belt, so to speak. what is happening physically, emotionally, etc? Thanks so much!

This is an important question. A number of dudes loose interest in this forum once they are castrated. So in some ways we have on the forum a self selected group who are well adjusted and comfortable with their new body. Maybe there is a way to reach out to former members who are castrated, to share their long term experiences ?

Indeed, that's a good question. I already tried to get here some information about long term experience after castration. All I found out is that most castrated men who are still active here seem to be more or less quite happy with the results. What the guys think who disappeared here, I don't know.

I had my bilateral orchiectomy done more than 8 months ago, and I have had nothing but an amazingly positive experience since then. I had a slight change in energy levels back when I was on a very low dose of E (I'm MTF but slowly starting the transition process), but now that I'm on a higher dose of E, I'd say my energy levels are actually higher than before the orchie. And my mental happiness levels are way higher since I'm not dealing with the presence of those things that have been causing me physical pain for so many years. I had several decades of pain and enlargement in my scrotum, so getting rid of them solved that issue, along with furthering my transition goal. I just wish I could have done it sooner.

I know several other trans friends who have had orchies done, all of them said it was a very positive experience, and only one of them had some complications afterwards (a urinary tract infection), so I haven't heard of anyone in my circles that has regretted the surgery. But we're biased since we all have the underlying trans issue going on. If you're male-to-eunuch, or doing it for another reason, I can't say what that would be like since I think the estrogen replacement I take gives me a totally different outlook than someone taking supplemental testosterone.

It is just over a year for me. I am very happy, calm and not so hell bent on cutting what remains of my genitals off. I still wnat to be rid of the penis, but it is not a daily obsession and I feel none of the compulsions for self harm that I did before. It has been a very positive step for me and I wish I had been able to do it decades ago.

Its been about two and a half years since I was adjusted. I have been using supplemental testosterone ever since, which has raised my T levels to a 19-year-old. My urologist is amazed with the physical transformation of someone my age, as are my gym mates. I am much healthier now than I had been in many years. Sexually, I am freer and much less inhibited. I express my emotions more now. I've always been a bit under-endowed and now being gelded, with a tiny scrotum, I am visually smaller but that doesn't stop me from rising to the occasion and discovering many other ways to please my girlfriend too. She says that she never had a boyfriend like me who has been as attentive, caring and sexually arousing to her as I am, who has been able to get rid of many of her sexual hangups too. I've started to wear her panties, which are comfortable and all that I need to cover up. She says they're cute on me and a turn on for her. She tells me I'm a hunk and wishes she met me when she was 20. Things are good.

I’m coming up on the 18th year since I was castrated and scrotum removed in 2004. I’ve been on and off HRT all that time. My endocrinologist put me back on Androgel about six month ago since my bone density test showed my condition had worsened. Please have your bone density checked every two years. I’m on the medication Flomax. Being a eunuch is one of the most reward decisions I ever made. I would not change back if I could. I read years ago that castration could lead to arthritis. I have it though out my body including hands and feet. I enjoy the fact that I am asexual, that I can’t make myself think anything sexual. What Unencumbered said about wearing his girlfriend’s panties? I like wearing panties and tight fitting jean cutoffs. I have nothing to show. I guess you are right about the older ones not posting. I know I don’t but I do sign in two or three times a week to see what’s going on. I wish all of you the best and if you’ve thinking about hurting yourself, I beg you to get help.

I can best be described as gay male to eunuch. Castrated 16 years ago I've never really had anything but positive experiences - no regrets. I've been on testosterone replacement since the beginning and am still very sexual. I now use a specially formulated cream. I still have my sac. Perhaps as a result, there appear to have been no negative side effects on any aspect of health. My BMI is about 23 and has been as low as 21 in recent times. I've never been shy about being nude in front of others and just returned from a gay male 4-day retreat where, as usual, I was nude quire a bit, and there were no comments on my being ballless - or even if others noticed.

A bit impossible for folks to mistake me these days. LOL

Hope we meet again soon, my friend.

It's been over 3 years now and i am very happy with been a eunuch, i tried not taking any HRT but the hot flashes and lost of strength is a problem for the work i do so i use a low dose of testogel gel. I have had body density scan done and very is a very small drop in that, there has been a little bit of weight gain to i still have my scrotum and are think of getting it removed maybe.

All i wish is that i became a eunuch many years earlier.
