Sometimes obsessions get the best of us. In Trentags case, he'll have to live with his decision for the rest of his life. It's just sad to see someone so young who may possibly have been tortured by the testosterone that was pushing him to do or engage in something that he didn't fully understand. On the other hand, maybe this is something he needed to do, perhaps it was gender correction in his mind. I hope he opens up so we'll know.

Lets not judge him. This boy is like most of us here, he has probably started to have this fantasy right from puberty. Only god knows what was his reason but he sure had his own reason. Men who castrate them self are quite normal except for this little difference that they hate their testicles. Lets stop to call him boy at 20 y.o. he was a man. I found him very COURAGEOUS to achieve his goal that way. I just hope for him that the bands didn't slipped off and that he is doing well now. He'll not do worse than any other eunuch members here. He'll probably join EA if he isn't already a member here. Lets stop criticizing him for what he did, he would certainly not feel welcome here if he reads too many bad comments. He might feel sorry for what he did in the next couple months. This guy will need our support more than our criticism.

There is registration for the Selective Service, but there is no draft. US military is voluntary enrollment.

I would imagine, lacking testicles, that one would be turned down for enlistment.

I do wonder how long he left the bands on after he cut his balls off? And I do wonder how he finished healing. There is something wet on the stump.

I've heard of another person getting through the pain and he was found out when his balls began to smell of death.

Ain't nothing like that smell. I had a deer die in my back yard and I found it by the smell. Another time a bird died after smacking a window and rotted behind a shrub.

He has probably left the bands on for 2 days. Enough to kill his testicles, perhaps not long enough to rot. There is a cutter(s) in USA that use this method. You have probably noticed that he was on line with someone when he did it, same when he did the banding. It's the method he choose to do it that worries me, there is a high risk of gangrene and bleeding if the bands break or slip off after the scrotum is removed. Once, I've seen pics of a man with gangrene spreading to his groin. That was pretty disgusting. I wonder how the doctor dealt with this patient, I'm sure, the doctor would have preferred to castrate him before.
