Scrotum Removal
Does anyone have any guidance or advice on removing the scrotum? I've seen a few pictures and am looking to have my scrotum removed due to pain primarily when sitting and when the scrotum retracts. It seems like it would resolve the issue.
I'm looking to have it completely removed along with the associated internal structures. Basically a complete job. From the information I've been able to find it is a little more involved than just removing the skin. My main goal is to remove painful tissue. Aesthetics are important too but not the primary concern.
I'm looking for help with just about everything about this. Who to go to, what it's like, what recovery is like, any issues post removal, the good and bad of it, things I should do, things I shouldn't.
I've asked locally and this is outside of the comfort zone of anyone here. Well the doctors that actually answered when I asked about it. I got a few weird looks and silence from a few of them. It was about a year from the onset of pain to the removal of the first testicle and I'm also looking to have the second one removed but again am running into a fairly conservative medical community. Since I'm going to have to travel I'm more concerned about results and skills rather than location.
Sorry for all of the questions, after reading a lot of the posts I still am trying to get my head around all of this.
Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Scrotum Removal
What you ask goes against the hypocratic oath (code of conduct for medical profesionals) and will not normaly be done by mainstreem surgeons
They will not remove healthy tissue end of story unless for extreme pain relief. (chronic orchialgia for example).
Thats why you got a funny look from your doc.
Options kill the remaining nut with banding or injectiog. Lie about chronic pain in the remaining one or seek a clinic that does out of hours no questions asked castrations.
Getting rid of the sack I guess is no big deal for a Transgender clinic once emptied of its contents..

Re: Scrotum Removal
You cannot have the scrotum removed until it is empty, of course. If you live in the USA there are doctors who can remove the second testicle, and at the same time the scrotum or just the testicle. There are plenty of plastic surgeons that will remove an empty scrotum. Contact me for detail of these resources if you wish.

Yes, but finding them is a challenge. I have a small scrotal remnant and am looking to get it gone, but several plastic surgeons contacted have not come anywhere close to agreeing to do it. Any ideas?

Sending to Thailand, without giving directions/contacts is like sending to google without giving keywords.

Re: Scrotum Removal
daifu-orchid,
My female urologist removed mine and all I did was ask her. So ask your urologist. Use words like, "It's psychologically distressing to me to have a piece of floppy empty skin underneath my penis. It serves no purpose and it's mentally trying because it reminds me of what I once had".

Re: Scrotum Removal
Hash, that is what I did. Well, actually I asked for a referral to a plastic surgeon because of the discomfort and my urologist said he could remove it and did. Sometimes money counts.
