I'm so happy for you. After all those troubles you got what you wanted. I see it as an honour that I could write with you about our most intimate problems, the support came from both sides. It is also so right that you mention the Eunuch Archive too. It is very special that by the EA men can come in touch and are a support for each other and that over a distance of many many kilometers.

Hi, I´m 2 days after surgery and in the morning I didn´t feel any pain. So I started to do some home stuff, walking around but after noon I strarted to fell some pain in my belly, probably from cord reamains. I supose there are some inner stitches. So for the rest of the day I did slow down, overall it´s great healing, much better that I expected When doc visited me after sugery he mentioned the balls were atrophied and sent them to histology lab, results should be within 2 weeks.

Hi, one week after castration I had to go to emergency due to the leak from the scar. Some blood appeared but doc said it´s ussual, just to keep it clean, change napkins several times in a day. So I do it, I hope skin cover itself soon.

It would be nice if they (surgeons) warn people about this in advance, so you don’t get scared when this happened. When it happened to me (I had no drain installed), I did not notice it at first and then I was in horror, noticing that I walking around in bloody jeans. To prevent this, move your scrotum around in the morning, so that blood would drain out from the scar, and then apply napkin to the wound, it would helps healing. Take care!

You're right, doc should mention small blood leak is nothing you have to be scared of. First time I noticed that I thought the stitch cracked.

Hi, I´m one month after castration. I still have small leak from the scar. Biggest change I noticed so far is no spontaneous or night erection, absolutely no libido, no sex dreams, nothing. But I still can have some erection, only using manual (oral) stimulation. I´m more calm, happy and cheerful, family and all my friends noticed that. I don´t use T replacement, only calcium and D vit pills. Small discomfort are weak hot flashes and night sweats. Each night I must change T-shirt twice or three times. But generaly - amazing

Congratulations. You'll heal alright. I know that 16 years later, I still feel it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I had a good friend who was castrated a year ago - basically for orchialgia - and he was and is so relieved, especially to come off pain killers.
