After 5 years of pain - finally

Post by Danny1969 (imported) »

Today my urologist asked me if I agree with bilateral orchidectomy due to long term testicular pain. I almost shout YES. Honestly, during these pain years I changed 6 times doc, each tried on me just some kind of medicaments without success, but finaly I found the correct guy. I' m scheduled for surgery in April. I'm feeling like prisoner few days before release day!😄

Having suffered testicular pain for 10 years before my bi-lateral orchidectomy last year, I can say I am very happy for you!!

Thanks guys for your support. It is really best news I heard this year :-) I couldn´t believe doc offered it himself. I asked for orchidectomy few doctors before and they looked at me like I´m a fool. Well, to experience a pain every single day can make some man fool but finaly the old story ends, new life gonna start. 🙏

Congratulations. I know the feeling. When I finally had my surgery the doctor came in about an hour after the surgery was complete and asked me how I was doing. I told him straight out that I hurt less after the surgery that I did before the surgery. And that was the moment where I hadn't had any additional pain killers after the surgery.

Yes, that's what I suppose will happen to me as well. Sometimes I have so strong pain I can't walk, I must sit and relax. I didn' ride my bicycle for 3 years because of pain, everybody with orchialgia knows that shitty issue.

Great news.It will bring an end to your years of suffering and you will be able to get on with your life again.

Its a shame that this kind of surgery is allways considered to be the "Last option" .

I would allways prefer the doc to ask me first "We can try a few things first if you like.. or there's the surgial approach" and let me be the one to say at what point I go under the knife.

Believe me, I know what testicular pain feels like. Crush them with a vice grip and see if you'll agree. :-)
