Re: prolactin problems and antiandrogens/estrogen
I was diagnosed with microprolactinoma after pitiuitary tomography and two prolactin tests, I have visual impairment, lactation an headaches,I will never be able to even touch any estrogen again.I feel so depressed for this.I was prescribed with bromocriptine half pill every night.
LH,FSH are in the normal range but my testosterone is that of a castrated, my estradiol is low too, I´m literally in an eunuch state now, feel so sad, I want to be a woman, but a healthy woman not an ill one. This is not the end of world however but It´s anooying the idea of having something inside your head that is giving you problems.Fortunately the good news is that I´m already in effective treatment, the endocrynologist was positive with the prognosis

Re: prolactin problems and antiandrogens/estrogen
This is my 4 day tretment with bromocriptine. Things stay the same. I feel so sad and so guilty I wish turn back time and have not sefl-medicated me. I produced myself a microprolactinoma, and all because I had not the courage to seek for medical help before. Now It´s too late and I will have to live without any estrogen for the rest of my life. I feel all my dreams of being a girl destroyed.

Re: prolactin problems and antiandrogens/estrogen
There are alternatives to drugs for prolactinomas. Transsphenoidal pituitary surgery is minimally invasive and hugely successful. Doctors will always us drugs as the first weapon to deal with prolactinomas. If you come out to them as Transgender and emphasise your need for transition and estrogen. They may offer you a surgical option

Re: prolactin problems and antiandrogens/estrogen
Thank you for your advises, I hope do not need surgery, I don´t abandon the hope of some day being on estrogen again, but this time under medical supervision of course. meanwhile I´m living as castrated as both my T and E are in castrated ranges. but Now I´m focused on my treatment with the endocrynologist and expecting for the urologist apointment for checking my calcified testicles. Also I´m focus to make some changes in my life , spiritual and material.

Thank you, I´ve read that this sort of surgeries are succesfull, you will be ok. For me I ll have to wait that bromocriptine start to work. I really hope need only drugs. reallyy I miss estradiol, Now with no hormones I feel depressed and lack of energy, lack of motivation, but this also might be due to the diagnoses and teh idea of not touching estrogen again,. I ´ll try to re-start my daily hour walking today, I need to loss weight, my truglicerides rised a lot.

If the tumor is affecting your vision they will most likely remove it surgically as it can cause blindness if it puts to much pressure on the optic nerves. Mine has been removed 4 times but keeps coming back even after radiation treatments because it was left to long initially.

my endo make me get nude and he noticed my tinny penis and my ascended testicles, sadly my body now is losing the few femininie shape and features gained and is acquiring the eunuch type
