The local news had an item that had us laughing today. In Las Vegas, a man gave a police officer the middle-finger salute. He was given a ticket. The charge? "Improper hand signal."

Re: Not Smart to Flip Off a Cop
Reminds me of the old man who tried to outrun the cop and then gave up, after reaching speeds of nearly 120 mph.
The officer says, "It's late in my shift, I want to go home. If you can give me an excuse I've never heard before, Gramps, I'll let you go."
Gramps replies, "Years ago, my wife ran off with a cop. I thought you were bringing her back!"
"Have a nice day!" The officer replied, and let him go.

Re: Not Smart to Flip Off a Cop
Absolutely true story. A man in Jacksonville driving in early morning traffic saw what he thought was the SUV that had cut him off a couple of mornings earlier. So he picked up an empty beer bottle in his vehicle, threw it and hit the SUV...belonging to the Sheriff of Duval County, Florida.
