Hi, I'm from Sydney Australia and have been plagued by my libido since I was a pre teen.
Its a very long story so I wont bore you all with the details (I myself am sick of the story) so I will cut to the chase.
I desperately want to be a eunuch. I think the operation I seek is an orchiectomy. I feel it is my only hope for a happy life. My hormones stop me from thinking rationally and I have lost so much sleep from the stress and anxiety. It has been years since I have had real rest. I am miserable and have contemplated suicide. Only because of my wonderful family I choose not to go through with it as I could never think of causing them so much pain.
It's almost 2016 and I want a new start, a chance to be who I really wish I could be, however I am frightened that if I talk to the wrong doctor and tell them I want my testicles removed, they will lock me up in a mental institution or something. I'm scared of seeing an unlicensed doctor and waking up with not just my balls removed, but my penis as well. That thought scares me. I don't know what to tell a doctor. Should I say I'm transsexual or just tell the truth? I just want to pay for the operation and be on my way.
Sometimes I feel so angry that there is something wrong with a man who wants to remove his testicles (Even though its my body and I can do what I wish with it) and yet its quite alright for a woman to have an abortion. (Not that I judge them, I know its a personal decision. I am just making a point about freedom.)
I know this is what I want. O'h how I dream of that peace and serenity, that calmness of a Eunuch.
I am hoping that there is someone here who can point me in the right direction. I cant find any doctors who can help me, or perhaps Ive been looking in the wrong places. I would also love to hear any fellow Australians experience in making the decision to be castrated and how their life has been changed, for better or worse. And maybe a walk through the procedure and thee feelings you felt before going in and the after effects such as weight gain and how to combat it. Is sex possible after? Must I got train in the gym. So many things I want to know and I salivate over the information and relief I may feel soon.
(I of course would love to hear experiences from everyone, not just Aussies as I know we all have different walks of life.)
I also hear of this chemical castration, If anyone can tell me what that involves I would love to hear about it and maybe be told what you think is better. I am so far going for straight up getting my balls removed.
Please someone help me find a doctor in Sydney or somewhere not too far out of state and perhaps how much money I should save. For years I thought I was all alone in this world and that I would be judged badly for wanting to be a eunuch but know I feel that perhaps I am not alone. I am scared of never achieving this.
Thank you all.

Re: Australian wanting to be Castrated
My concern is that you're 21 years old and wanting this, and you're straight. Mind you, nothing wrong with either, my concern is that you indicate you still wish to date and perhaps one day find a long term mate. At your age, most women will want a man that comes with the possibility of impregnating her at some point, lose your balls, that's not possible. There are options, but I'm guessing banking sperm would get pricey.
Assuming children are of no concern for your future life, then certainly you could start working on physical castration. I know it was the best thing I had ever done for myself at the time I did it (it's now been surpassed by the removal of my penis this year), so it is certainly possible to be happy after it is done.
You describe wanting it to lower your sex drive, but still wanting sex. That's going to be a delicate balance. If you take nothing, odds are your sex drive will go away or at the least down significantly, which is something you want. If that happens, you'll likely not be interested in pursuing sex, so the sex question may be moot. But if the idea is you wan to have a low libido, that will take some doing. I take 0.4 mL of testosterone cypionate 200mg/mL each week. So, I get right around 85 mg of testosterone per week, and I'm horny quite a bit. You'd likely need less than I'm taking to get your libido to a manageable level.
I'm generally supportive of your desire, but think in terms of this taking a while and not happening in the short term. I do not say that to discourage you, but to be realistic. Also, the medical community is starting to come on board and recognize men like us as they do transgendered people, they are even studying creating a 3rd gender in the medical literature to address men like us that wish to stay men, but part ways with some or all of our external man parts.
I'm sure others will have an opinion, so I'll stop here. Just keep asking good questions, there are many real eunuchs such as myself here.

Hello, and welcome
you are in the correct site, you´re post sound so honest. I understand your suffering..
chemical castration seems the best way to start as IT will give you a general view of how is living without testosteron and help you a lot to make better decisions, browse the sticky in the chemcast forum for more info. The advantages of chemicals is that they are reversible and you can drop them in any moment that you decide. Here there are some australian memberes that could help you to find local support.
Wish you the best and happy holidays

Re: Australian wanting to be Castrated
We all coem with many different reasons contemplating life as a eunuch. For me it has been a very long journey and over time my thinking has changed or perhaps evolved. Being here, reading, chatting and thinking it develops.
I am very happy with my eunuch status. I did a number of trials with chemical castration, long enough to be certain that this was really for me. Once they are pruned they are gone and there is no going back.
You are young and as LT wisely mentioned you may want to think about sperm bank, now before you start even a trial of chemical castration. Chemical castration can damage fertility permanently.
Take your time, read , think ask questions.
As for me I can no longer remember what it was like to have balls and i am very happy indeed. Good luck.

Re: Australian wanting to be Castrated
Welcome. You're not alone. We are here with you. Though you're far away. We are here to stay. You are a 20-hour flight away from where I am, if I'm in a plane that's going 500 mph. If I'm going in my private jet and traveling at 760 mph or sonic speed then I would be there in 14 hours, five hours if I'm going Mach III. I'm interested in getting my reproductive glands removed as well. I've never had sex. I've watched cyberporn since I was seven. Fifteen years. I haven't ever met anyone in person that wants to become a eunuch, but people with that wish exist. An orchiectomy costs anywhere from $2000 to $5000 in the United States. Bayshore Plastic Surgery is a 24-minute drive away from my parents' place. I emailed Bayshore Plastic Surgery four months ago and a doctor there emailed me and said that for cost information I should call them and ask Celeste. I talked the woman and I don't remember what she said. Merry Christmas and happy New Year!
