I am pretty hairy naturally and its only my body hair I go for with the epilator.

On the pain side they do make your eyes water at first.

What I do is quickly move the thing across the area I want to treat to thin the hairs out a bit before using it in the normal way.

If done regularly it is less tearful.

From an Old Guy (me). I don't mean to put in a note of gloom here but I can't help but think of using an epilator as being very near in sensation to burning the hair off with a blowtorch. --FLO--
