Happy Thanksgiving!

Post by Paolo »

For all you Americans, like me, that is.

For those that aren't, well, throw caution to the wind, grab your insulin and metformin, and gorge!🙏 :)

My turkey is thawed, dressing prepared, cauliflower salad made, and "lower" carb pumpkin pie ready to be eaten.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I love this holiday. Easy to understand. We thank the deities that we are still alive, somehow...

Ok Paolo, what the fuck is a "lower" carb pumpkin pie? Arn't you suppose to throw care to the wind and jump straight into the real thing? Gluttony I say Gluttony! Get out the dressing! Get out the spuds! Sugar! Carbs! I want them! Now!!!! Pass that Pie! Extra helping? Sure!!! Hey you! Gimmie that butter!!!! Damn you to hell if you are rationing that gravy!!! I want two rolls! No, make that three! Belch, quiver.... Twitch...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Enjoy the turkey, cranberry sauce, all the trimmings and the food coma as you fall asleep trying to watch the ball game. Some of us though trying to drop a few dress sizes will, instead of eating the bird, be eating like a bird. Since it's just me and my wife and she's already cooked on Thanksgiving dinner at the church Sunday, we'll probably just go out to eat. ;)🚶

Yes Happy Thanksgiving Eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow you diet.

I like you had Thanksgiving dinner last Sunday at church, it was wonderful, so many things that I should not eat, sigh I think today I will have a pizza in honor of that great founder of our hemisphere, Christopher Columbus.

Happy Turkey day

and put the beers in the frig and get ready for some FOOTBALL (don't forget the limes for the beer)

Talula:

I grew the pumpkins from this mystical seed I took from a castoff pumpkin at the festival last year, nurturing the vine all summer long with rain water I collected in buckets which I made from the bark of...

OK, I bought a rain barrel and had the thing in a pot near the barrel, all right?

Seriously, though - I use heavy cream cut 50/50 with water instead of milk, coconut flour instead of wheat flour, and I don't put it in crust. So I guess it's more like a mousse. That, and I use 1/2 cup of Splenda instead of 1 cup of sugar.

Look out, Riverwind, the cauliflower salad is in abundance.
