Episode 5 -- Here
TWD seems to be stuck in the word "here" for some reason.
What's the worst new sport in Alexandria? Answer: "Sewer Spelunking" ...
This is a thoughtful episode that one of my friends who is a faithful watcher said that every move is accompanied by a monologue.
In the previous two years, TWD viewers have seen Rick Grimes get progressively more ruthless and brutal. This is the episode that all turns around. This is the episode where finally, he has to come back to the "Farmer Rick" side of emotions that he left at the farm and prison with the older guy (the one who lost his leg)...
It is also the episode where the Alexandrians realize that the world has permanently changed and the new world is even crueler and nastier and more viscous than they ever thought possible.
As for that other thing that fills the news -- I don't know.

Episode 6 Head's Up
a) That big moment from episode #1 was resolved and it is resolved in one of the most drama and pathos filled ways at the beginning of the episode.
b) I should note that only 24 hours have passed since the end of the first episode to the end of the 6th episode.
c) It sets up the season finale.

The funniest part was on The Talking Dead when they do the In Memorium and they did an Un Memorium with the Hallelujah Chorus playing.

Re: The Walking Dead -- season 6
One of the reasons I watch "The Talking Dead" is to decompress and have a little fun with the episodes that are depressing.
I really resent the fact that I have to wait through the abysmally awful "into the badlands" which is most like the 1980's cheesy "kung Fu" theatre from Saturday mornings.

THE WALKING DEAD Episode 6 "Start to Finish" was a good episode. This is a spectacular show that ties up who lives, who dies and who is still in jeopardy.
From the first episode to the 6th, has been about two days of time on the show.

Re: The Walking Dead -- season 6
The second half the season six -- THE WALKING DEAD episode 9 is amazing.
No one is safe. Major characters die in this show. It an exciting battle for the city.
There's a lack of fire. There's a bazooka.
And it's Michonne's (Danai Gurira) birthday.

Re: The Walking Dead -- season 6
The show made such a big deal about getting their hands on that RPG launcher (technically it isn't a bazooka, my bad) in the first episodes.
And I can't think of a more annoying character to die than that biker. Four minutes of that pile of shit was nearing my limits. I hope his smarmy mouth never finds it way back to his smart skull or his smart bits and pieces. At least he isn't coming back for a more satisfying kill like THE WOLF at the end.
Damn, bitten, shot twice, and then skull crushed as a zombie -- how many ways do they give an actor to die? I mean, who do you have to blow to get three chances at an Oscar for overacting?
