Jared -- Thanks again for the updates. How do you feel after 4 months? All healed? Cords shriveled up? Would love to see how your sac hangs now. Any thought of posting a link to an "all healed" pic of your scrotum?

There hasn't been much change in the past month or so. The incision is almost completely healed up. You have to stretch the skin a bit to see it except for a small "pocket" where the drain was. That spot still gets a tiny bit of white buildup and needs to be cleaned out every few days. The cord is absolutely healed to the back side of the incision at that point which keeps it slightly tender. It's not painful at all but is a little uncomfortable, like a gentle poke or pinch, when I sneeze or clear my throat and the cord retracts. The cords are still in there and have shrunk down to the thickness of a pencil or so. They still hurt to squeeze. The sack doesn't hang as loosely as I thought it would, thankfully. I don't have any recent photos, but could post up something later on.
My body temperature seems to be a little more loosely regulated the past month or so. I wouldn't call them hot flushes, but I do get just a bit hot at random from time to time - just enough to notice really. Other than that, things are pretty steady. I don't have a way to be sure, but I'm attributing my pretty easy adaptation to castrate-level hormones to my long use of Siterone leading up to the surgery.
I did start taking a Calcium-Vitamin D3 daily just in case, to stay ahead of bone density loss.

When you have a chance, consult a doctor about the calcium. It can build up in the kidneys if you're not careful with it.

I was surgically castrated several years ago. My physician advised me to stop taking a calcium supplement and only use D3. She said that the body already gets enough calcium through the food one eats and the D3 helps my body to better absorb it. My bone density scan shows that it is normal. Regular load bearing exercise also helps.

I have not, as I've never really felt the need. I also didn't establish my normal base line prior to starting Androcur. I suppose I'd be interested to know it, but really just to satisfy my curiosity. I haven't been willing to pay for a test when I have no plans to start testosterone replacement.
I'm taking half the dose recommended of the D3-Calcium supplement (recommends 2, taking 1 daily), so not too worried about getting too much calcium. But I'll go ahead and bring it up next time I'm at the doctor. Thanks for the tip.

Good to go for an annual physical, including blood work, which for eunuchs should include a T level.
Over the years I have at times grossly over shot the mark of T and under. I thought I was a good judge by feel, but it seems not so.
The measured minimal T after castration confirmed a good job. When on HRT, I try to keep my T within normal "intact" range.
Too low feels very good, and I'm probably a much nicer person, but anemic and fat. Too high, and my blood count is too high for health, and I don't usually feel as well.
In sort, there's no short cut to taking care of yourself. Stay well!
