Re: Two TV shows: "Blindspot" and "Minority Report"
Hard boiled eggs,
First and most important, use older eggs never day old fresh ones.
Do not use an aluminum pan.
put eggs in bottom of pan don't stack them.
Cover the eggs with water plus
add a bit of salt and a little veg. oil
medium heat, bring water to a boil,
boil for 7 to 10 minutes,
take off burner and cover for another 10 minutes.
put eggs in ICE water and cool them as fast as possible.
If your yoke is a bit blue/green you cooked them to long, if there bright yellow you did it right.
The salt and oil help in the pealing of the eggs,
the ice water stops the cooking process
7 to 10 minutes, depends on the size of the eggs your boiling.

Aloha

The excuse was that HE (and it was a guy) never boiled an egg but bought them already boiled and simple took he shells off them before eating.
I said that last part because I am not sure that he realized the shell wasn't edible the first time he ate a store bought hard-boiled egg.

You know, the only thing easier is boiling water in a pot, yep I have seen that fail too.

HEROES REBORN
This is a continuation of the old series HEROES.
My biggest problem with it right now is that in the two hour premier show, the writers opened too many plot threads and didn't resolve any of them. It got tedious to see at least six storylines pushed out there and nothing resolved. (maybe ten storylines)
The previous version of HEROES fell into a muddle and this one seems to be headed that way.
Two hours went by before we discovered that the Heroes have to reassemble to save the world.
sigh, count me disappointed.

SCREAM QUEENS
It's about Kappa Kappa Tau, a sorority with a past, a lurid and spicy past.
Ten minutes into it and already there are two deaths -- one sorority sister died in childbirth and another was pray-tanned with acid.
The masked Satan (the killer) has appeared.
Jamie Lee Curtis is the Dean of a College. She forces the "bad, bad, bad, sorority to accept any girl as a pledge. . .
The head of the National KKT Sorority got a law degree at the best 4th rate law school in the Caribbean.
Nick Jonas plays a gay man and speaks about himself in third person.
ADDED: This is the first murder sequence that I've ever seen that didn't have dialog, they used text messages (like cellphone text messages) and a big frenching knife.
It's satire.
It is in a world of satire.
A big world of satire.
Did I say satire?

No, No, No, this is too much.
added, well wait a minute. Nick Jonas just rose from the grave and I might tune in to see what that is all about.

UPDATE - -
Minority Report struck out this week. I turned on SCORPION. Scorpion might be trashy and silly but I can tolerate that.
Blindspot had a bizarre plot but it was adventuresome and entertaining. Lots of "FBI searching for crazed killer stuff" and an armed drone airplane with missiles. That wasn't believable but still it has action and I can watch it.

CODE BLACK
A modern ER like the ER from years ago.
Too much interpersonal strife between some of the characters. The drama feels forced. When will writers learn that making one character an idiotic and unmitigated bastard isn't drama...
But I'll see what happens next week. Nothing else's on and maybe the next script will be better.

SCREAM QUEENS
What can I say when I hear dialog like this:
hot campus stud to one of the Kappa's
"You had your chance (to be my girlfriend) when you freaked out about me fantasizing about having sex with your dead body"
Now that's a line no writer can innocently arrive at -- it had to be a group think, doublespeak, un-thought!
wink, wink...
