The first time, then forever by Robert Shields

I love this story about two High School friends, discovering their sexuality together and staying friends forever. They meet as married grown ups each other over the years in a cabin in a dessert where they finally seal their friendship by cutting each others testicles, sterile by ballbusting, and replace them by ceramic implants. It is a well written story that used to be in the old Fiction Archive, but didn't move alas to the new Fiction Archive. Fortunately I have a printed copy of the story. It would be nice when others could read it in the new Fiction Archive.

There is lots of stuff missing in the fiction archive. I seem to remember the issue was one of time and needing to go through each story one by one.

I'd love to see all the stories restored, and I'm not complaining, but I'm curious what the good folks here would need in the way of assistance to help that desire along? Perhaps there are some folks here on the archive that could help them further the process?

I'm sure many would volunteer to do a few stories if there was something they could do that would format/make them ready to restore to the fiction section.

I searched under title index letter "T". Many many titles with the first word "The" and not the title "The first time, then forever"
