An extreme price was paid by a cheating husband whose penis was cut-off using a pair of scissor by his mistress in a fit of rage.

The man identified by his surname Liu, 50, had booked a hotel room for his usual sexual escapades with his mistress of five years. The mistress was later identified by her last name Zhang.

Liu was seen running across the road in his underwear half way up looking and calling for a doctor, while the blood kept gushing out of his private area and down his legs.

Liu and Zhang started the sexual relationship 5 years ago, the mistress kept insisting him to leave his wife however, Liu refused.

Finally, the cheating husband and the mistress met in a hotel room, expecting another sex laced encounter however this time things got out of hand, both the couple were heard quarreling with each other, as the other guest and hotel staff reported before a bloodcurdling scream was heard and a man was seen running down the hotel stairs and onto the streets screaming for help with hands trying to prevent the excessive blood flow.

Zhang had grabbed a pair of scissors and cut off Liu’s penis in fit of rage, when he blatantly stated he would not leave his wife and calmly walked away from the scene of the crime.

According to one of the hotel staff the incident occurred around 2:30pm (local time), after watching the man run out of the hotel, she went to the room to access the situation, upon her entry in the room she found a blood covered scissors lying on the bed next to it was the curled up penis.

The police are currently on a look-out for the mistress and have declined to comment whether the penis was reattached or not.

The hotel staff saw her exiting the room but apparently didn't stop her.

Hotel guests said they heard fighting in the room before Liu burst out of the room screaming, running down the corridor in pain.

An employee at the hotel said the incident happened at around 2:30pm. She said she heard screaming coming from the pair’s hotel room, after which she saw a young woman quickly exiting the room.

The staff member then saw Liu in the lobby, covered in his own blood, and with even more blood spewing out of where his private parts should have been.

“I went into the room and there was a pair of a scissors on the bed, and a severed penis lying on the bed,” she said.

The businessman had run down into the lobby and had then run half-naked out into the street, calling for a doctor.

Local media also published a screenshot of a police report, in which Zhang is being sought for “cutting off victim’s reproductive organ”.

Her current whereabouts are unknown.

Police have declined to comment on whether Liu’s penis was reattached, saying they were only appealing for help in tracking down the alleged attacker.

Surveillance footage from the hotel shows an image of a woman holding an object that appears to be either a pair of scissors or a knife as she exits the building.

The mutilated man apparently thought the woman had thrown his gentleman's tackle into a nearby alley and images show the man clutching his private area in pain as he searches for the missing member.

After a fruitless search, the man hailed a taxi to hospital where he is recovering. Police are searching for Ms. or Mrs. Zhang.

I don't know why many news sites blurred the images of the woman when the police are still looking for her. Kind of counterintuitive to blur the face of a suspect the police want people to find.
