Instructions on How-To Submit Your Story to the Archive

Post by Paolo »

Story files can be emailed to eafictionarchive at gmail dot com

Please attach the file that created your story to the email. Open Office formats are fine, as are .doc, .docx, .rtf, and .txt

If you do not know how to attach, search GOOGLE and they will tell you.

Please include tags for your story, such as [S] [G] [testicles] [minor] etc and so forth. You may add up to four custom tags.

DO NOT upload it to Google Docs. They don't like me and won't let me look at documents.

DO NOT paste your story body into the email body.

This causes a HUGE mess of it when Gmail is done mauling it, with the main problem being that the paragraphs shift all over the place. Sometimes it makes the entire pasted-in story totally unusable.

Please keep a copy on your own machine for safety, at least until your story appears here.

It is also an enormous help to do the following when creating a new document - go to SELECT ALL, and then go to PARAGRAPH.

For the spacing in the AFTER setting, set it at .2" and hit OK.

This way, you get a paragraph break when hitting ENTER only once.

We do not need 5 or more line breaks between paragraphs. Yes, that happens. A lot.

Thank you.
