Two months ago I started a trial run with Androcur (Cyproterone Acetate). I am currently taking 100 mg daily.
I have to say that it felt really good in the beginning, but it seems that the effects of the medication are less strong now.
Probably my body got used to lower T levels.
I don't know if I should increase the dosage. It could be a problem since Androcur is really expensive here.
Anyway, I was wondering how long this trial run should last before considering surgery. What's your opinion?
Should I wait longer? Will I see more changes in the future, just by continuing with this dosage?
Should I increase to 150 mg?
Should I go on with surgery?
I am also thinking about starting to take some estradiol.
Should I keep taking 100 mg of Androcur and start taking 4 mg of Estradiol daily? Will this effectively lower my libido?
Thanks for your help people.

I would say that something 1-3 months is relatively safe. 3 months should be long enough of time to deal with all the effects. Also there will be some additional Eunuch time after you quit Androcur from weeks to months until your endocrine system starts to function again.
I have read reports that few men develope interesting syndrome after quitting Androcur when everything returns to normal, but then suddenly they feel castrated again while their T-levels arent at castrate lavels. This phenomena is not well understood. though it is very rare, you should accept that risk.
Anything more than 6 months could become permanent. though there have been reports of people being on Androcur for more than a year returned to normal without setbacks.
Androcur could be addictive!
You shouldn't wait at all. Take the trial as soon as possible, if you are serious. You might regretting waiting later in your life.
If you choose any permanent solution, be very careful! think many times if you can cope with downsides of being an eunuch. Trial period could give you some answers.
It is okay to start with higher dosage, so Androcur builds up in your body faster and pushes T out of receptors much faster. But after you feel most of the effects you could easily drop to 50mg a day. If you feel T returning, then you should increase Androcur dosage.

Estradiol will actually increase your libido. If you wish to get your libido to zero you should use estrogen blocker - tamoxifen along with androcur.

I have already started the trial run two months ago.
I don't know if I could get some Tamoxifen where I live. I think I'd need a prescription (I got my Androcur through my girlfriend who is MtF).
Apart from that, I should like some feminization. Not much. Just something to look less manly. But the lidibo increase scares me.
