Just to take a poll (?), I know there are several wannabes, but I am curious how many have tried an elastrator for play (maybe 2 - 15 minutes), how many times and what the end result was?

No "official" elastrator play, but I tried rubber bands on my hubby's scrotum above his testicles once. They were on only a few minutes, but that was enough to produce spermatoceles, which are lumps in the scrotum resembling misshaped extra testicles. They slowly grow over time; they don't go away. We haven't repeated that kind of play since then. I want him to keep his testicles healthy.

My wife and I us a bander a couple times a year. It is part of our toy chest not the only toy. From what we have read greater than 20 minutes is a bad thing. One occasion was different, very different. After I allowed myself to be restrained, She gagged me and tapped my eyes shut and put head phones on my ears. After a very long period tHe head phones were removed and my wife was explaining things about the process as I felt her apply the band to my sack. I could hear several cameras. The head phones were applied again. The normal progression of sensations occurred and as I wondered what was happening I realized more time was passing. After a while I had to breath very deliberately to try and control the pain and the ache. Again the head phones were removed and my wife explained some things to me as I heard muffled laughter in the background. Then the band was cut as again I could hear cameras. It was beyond intense. Head phones again and very quickly they were removed as were the tape and gage. My sack was way bluer then anything from the past or since. I hope this helps.

Over the years, I have used an elastrator many times in play sessions. I have had experience both as the one being banded and the one applying the band. I find the experience (in either role) to be extremely exciting. This is a real, practical castration tool. Granted the consequences of letting the process complete on a human may be a bit untoward, but as far as killing the balls goes, it will do the job. Quite frankly, I don't know which gives me a bigger rush, banding or being banded. All of my playing has involved restraints so that the bandee was pretty much helpless. My partners in this have all pretty much found the experience very exciting as well. I try to limit time banded to 20 minutes maximum, usually somewhat less. I don't do this frequently which might affect the pain level, but I've found that by twenty minutes, that deep ache is more than I want to continue. In general, guys I've played with have agreed with that timing and pain assessment. Cutting the band always produces the intense sting. I have tried topical anesthetics to reduce that but without a lot of success. (Maybe picked the wrong ones.) That part I really don't enjoy but that may be at least partly because it tends to be post-orgasmic. I have noticed no lasting effects and, in fact, other than some tenderness of the scrotum, no short term effects.

I've been banding 1 to 5 times a week for three months. 20 min to an hour. First time snipping off the bands is a hot shock, very painfull but I got used to it and enjoy it now. I have made the top half of my dick quite numb although I've been told this feeling might come back after a few weeks of rest and whenever I go a whole week without banding I notice an increase in feeling so that advice seems likely.
