My elastrator experience and other questions

Hi, I've been on HRT for 5 years now (since I was 18)

I had some bad side effects from cyproterone like liver problems, dark urine, weight gain.

I also had some bad side effects from spironolactone like an insane leg cramp (worst pain I ever felt).

I did alcohol injections for 2 years so I had very small gonads, about the size of a peanut or something.

So this year, I decided I would use an elastrator with lidocaine and just get rid of it for good, I injected the lidocaine and put the band just fine, it didn't hurt like at all which was funny cause I was expecting at least some discomfort. (BTW: I did this to only one gonad because it would be impossible to do both at the same time since they were too small and far apart because of the alcohol injections)

After a week the gonad really got dark and dry, it looked like a huge scab so I started removing it with a scalpel, peeling it actually... it didn't hurt, i couldn't feel anything.

After peeling most of it the band simply came off, I kind of freaked out cause I didn't know what to do, should I remove the rest of the dead tissue or should i wait?

I decided I would remove the dead tissue, I did and ended up with a big hole in the scrotum. It didn't hurt or anything, it wasn't infected but it looked scary so I went to the hospital. At the hospital they gave me antibiotics and put a collagenase dressing on the wound 3 times a day for 6 days.

After being released from the hospital they said I should take antibiotics for 20 more days, clean the wound with saline solution and make collagenase dressings 2 times a day.

I did and about 3 months later the wound closed completely. It's fine now.

The problem is: I still have one gonad left. I looked up for surgeons and the orchiectomy price is 15 thousand bucks, which i don't have and i don't think i ever will...

besides you need tons of documents and psychiatric evaluations, it's very bureaucratic.

so I was wondering if there is a safe correct way to use the elastrator and avoid infections or any bad things, I still have lidocaine left.

Joanna, please do not place yourself at medical risk again! There are at lease two MD's here in the U.S. that will perform operations without letters. They cost far less then the price you quoted. On the other hand seeing a consular to explore your own motivations hurts how and what? Recently we have read here about folks that were able to recieve treatment locally and some through their insurance after seeking consuling with an appropriate gender based practice. Also do not look at this from only a finical bases, is not a happy life, filled with a positive self image and supportive friends far better than living in mental turmoil and anguish because of the supposed benefits of money?

Thanks for your answer, unfortunately i am not in the U.S. I am in Brazil.

I honestly don't care for money, if I had it i would pay for the surgery but I don't.

I was really just wondering if there is a safe way to perform it using the elastrator. If there is not then I should just move on.

There is no safe way. At best you walk out of the ER. At worst... leave a last will and testament.

I know this because I was lucky. I got to walk out of the Psych ward.

There's definitely no "safe way" to castrate yourself using an Elastrator. At best, for me any way, I was curious about castration. More of an intense fantasy. In 2002, I bought my first Elastrator, that was actually the same year I got married to my ex-wife. The first time I used the elastrator, I didn't "really" mean to use it, I was just so turned on by the possibility of being castrated.

I would place the elastrator bands onto the prongs, and open and close them. One day, my wife was at work, and was home by myself doing "Online Elastrator Research" when finally, I figured I'd go for a trial run.

Placing the band on the elastrator, I was as hard as ever. I opened the bands, tried working my balls through, seemed impossible, until I went one at a time. Finally getting them both through, I just held the elastrator in place, slowly closing and opening the jaws of it, almost caused me to ejaculate from the excitement alone.

My hands began getting tired, this lets you know how strong those little green bands are, so much freaking resistance to them. I finally closed the elastrator jaws fully around my sac, but wasn't ready to release the band, when somehow, a portion of my scrotum got pinched between the band and the elastrator prong, which hurt Like a son-of-a-b*tch!!!

So there I was, not really ready to be elastrated, stuck in a predicament, either tear my damn scrotum, or close the elastrator and release the Kraken!!! (The Green Monster).

I released the band onto my sac, and was terrified!!! It didn't hurt at all (at first) I sat there in amazement, my balls packaged by this little, strong as hell, green band. Immediately I look for scissors, I was super stupid, didn't have the cat-claw shears, or the blunt nose scissors, I had your basic, Vlad the Impaler, scissors.

5 minutes go by, and I'm like, "this isn't so bad," 10 minutes, I begin feeling the dull abdominal ache that I've been hearing about. At 15 minutes, I'm drenched in sweat, and I'm trying to slowly pick at a band that has seemed to bury its way deeper around and into my sac, making it virtually impossible to get scissors in between the band and my skin without puncturing myself, which would not be good.

At 20 min... I'm still sweating, but now my hands are shaking crazily as I take partial snips at this thick ass band, I'm halfway through the band and it seems to be getting stronger/tighter. I feel my balls, they're still there, but they're cool, not cold just yet, but they getting cool.

I'm African American, so the color change isn't so evident. 25 minutes, I'm almost through the band, it's holding on by a sliver, but damn...it's still applying pressure, when one final snip and KAPOWIE!!!!

I scream like a little kid who got kicked in the nuts by the pony he can't have!!! That band SNAPPING, is no freaking joke!!!! I shivered for a few seconds, but was soon relieved the band was off!!!

Fast forward from 2002 to 20010: I've been banding on and off that whole time. Taking myself further and further into the point of no return, at times, hoping the bands would finish me off.

I was dating a girl, after my divorce (2004) of course who was gullible enough to band me, my goal was to have her tie me to the bed, place a band on my sac, and come back after see went to watch a movie and do some shopping...plan failed, she definitely would suck as a sailor because she sucked at tying knots...after about 20-30 minutes with the band on, I'd wiggle my way out of her sub par bonds and snip the bands off. I cheated, because if I was really ready for castration, I'd have used legit handcuffs, or someone who knew how to tie someone up.

I'd find reasons to throw the elastrator away, and try walking away from becoming a eunuch, but it would never last past a couple months, because there I am, buying another one and going for the gusto again.

The biggest change happened when I started using lidoderm patches. I'd wrap a lidoderm patch around my sack for about 30 minutes and then band myself but with 3-bands... I've gone over an hour long being banded...my balls were definitely "cold" and the only pain I felt was in my abdomen, after an hour, the pain crept into my lower back, and then down my legs...I went for 2 hours as my longest, the pain sucked, felt myself almost passing out, I couldn't feel my balls whatsoever, more so due to the lidoderm patch... But my body began to shake, my mouth was dry, legs, back, stomach ached like crazy. Then I finally cut all three bands, and immediately the pain went away. My balls were freezing, and I'd pinch them and felt nothing, but again, that was due to the lidoderm patch.

I've done 2+ hours a couple times, 1+ hours maybe 6 or so times, but 30 minutes to an hour, over the span of 6 years, a lot, not sure how many.

Life today: I still have my balls, still having sex, no issues with erections. I am having scrotal issues, mild but noticeable, itching and constant dry skin.

Was in a relationship not long ago, I'm 42 now, wanted to have kids with this woman I fell in love with....annnnnddd NEGATIVE!!! I'm unable to have kids. Wasn't aware the elastrator was doing damage, thought I got away unscathed, but sadly, my baby makers, are no longer baby makers. I'm sterile as bandage gauze!

I lost the girl because I told her the truth of how I became sterile, and she really wanted her own kids.

Moral of the story, even in fantasy, reality can take place. The elastrator is not a toy. If you want castration, it'll give it to you, if you don't want it, it can still give it to you, or in my case, some form of permanent damage!

I still consider myself lucky, because it was a fantasy that I thought I wanted, but if I truly wanted it, I've had so many chances to have gone through with an actual castration, had that girl I dated really knew how to tie a knot, this would be an entirely different posting. I dodged a bullet, but still got hit with shrapnel so to speak.

That is the best description of elastrator use I've ever seen. It is exactly my experience. Even the part about deciding to throw away the elastrator and then buy one again a few weeks later -- I've bought over 25 over the years!

The initial ease of putting it on, the way the pain works in, and then that point when you are desperate to get it off but it is difficult cause the band is so tight, is exactly what I experienced.

Even the fantasy of having a woman put it on and then go out for a few hours.

I'm lucky enough that I was able to have kids. I had been using elastrator for a while before that, so I can say that it doesn't necessarily cause sterility, but I certainly don't doubt it could.

Anyway, the best thing about this forum is that you find that your own weird stuff you do is actually a shared experience. There is probably some guy out there right now sweating away trying to cut a band off his balls while at the same time dreading that painful moment when you do cut through. It makes you feel better about yourself knowing that you're not the only one struggling with these obsessions.
