GONE GIRL (the movie)

Post by Dave (imported) »

GONE GIRL

is a 2014 movie after the book. I never read the book.

I did watch half the movie and I have this to say:

OMG - they are all psychopaths.

That's the only way I know how to explain what I saw. I knew the plot from the articles that came out about the book and then the movie. But gee whizzies they really are all crazy in the movie.

I had fun this weekend watched some movies from the 40's 50's and 60's The quiet man with John Wayne, and one with Carey Grant and another with Audry Hepburn, I even tried one with Bruce Lee, that one I turned off about half way through, all in all it was a good weekend for movies.

I saw that HONDO with John Wayne was on. That's an archetypal western done very well. First of its kind in many ways and well worth watching.

Also, the delightful murder mystery CHARADE with Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant, Walter Matthau, James Coburn, George Kennedy in a delightful story about murder, betrayal and more murder in Paris. Stanley Donen wrote a very enjoyable movie and Grant and Hepburn are a delight together.

When looking for a movie to watch, if it has Cary Grant or Audry Hepburn I know I will enjoy the movie and your right, having both in the same movie is over the top.
