And then there are guys like my husband Tim, who have a fantasy of having their penises forcibly taken from them against their will. That's mixed emotions to the extreme. Tim has had his fantasy since grade school, and it's been more or less fulfilled. He's dealing with the aftermath well, but he's not one to talk much about his feelings, and I wonder how much he has the feelings described in the article.

I know this is an old thread, but I stumbled on the parent article a few days ago and was going to post the link in the penectomy forum, but in searching for it again, I discovered that it was already here.

Personally given the problems this poor guy is having with pain, sex and urinating, were it me, I would go back to the urologist and get him to remove the stump and create a re route. This may not solve the pain problem, which is possibly more psychological than actual given that he was forced to have the penectomy due to cancer, but it would certainly solve the urination and sexual problems.

I really feel for this guy in his situation.
