I've railed about this before, I'm probably gonna rail about it again. Only, I figure this is an opportune time to mention it loud and clear.

This is to the absolutely incredible amount of people I talk to, on a regular basis, who figure that castration will make them calmer, more docile, more obedient, more agreeable, more submissive, whatever. In other words, this is for those who keep talking about this mythical Eunuch Calm that supposedly all eunuchs get once they've been castrated, and get the testosterone out of their systems.

For YEARS I've tried to argue that it would seem better to match a eunuch up against a post-menopausal woman, in terms of hormones. Clearly now, all of them old ladies are meek, weak, and utterly passive in terms of how they interact with the world. There's absolutely no truth to those stories about the feisty ones who are more than willing to take on the legions of hell itself to redeem that $0.25 coupon on laundry detergent which expired a year ago. Those are entirely mythical.

Instead, I'm gonna talk about myself. I was castrated almost 17 years ago, and have spent most of that time since on HRT. However, nearly eight months ago I stopped taking the T. My current testosterone level is somewhere around 0.8 nmol/L. That puts me in the bottom third of testosterone levels for WOMEN my age. I am more than happy with this situation. I would not take T again if you paid me, and I doubt there's a threat you could use to get me to have testicles again. I fully agree that I'm probably more at peace with myself now than I ever have been before. And yes, I am so much less of an asshole now then I used to be.

The trouble is, I'm SO much more of a Bitch than I ever was an asshole. That's without estrogen too.

Eunuch calm, making you feel more comfortable about yourself, at peace with yourself? Check.

Eunuch calm, making you submissive and compliant? Go for it, test the Boss. I dare you.

I think It depends on the personality of each one. If you has been a bitch, asshole or whatever all your life maybe you will be like that with or w/o T. If you personality is quiet, calm, submisive etc.., things probably won´t change after castration. What is a matter of fact is that agression is reduced when T is suppresed. In my case I experienced a reduction of agression and Irritability, but I have to remark that I´m on estradiol also.

With no T, my aggression simply changed from physical to verbal. Very verbal.... Really really verbal. I can't describe just how much of a cunt I was to everyone, especially those that pissed me off.... and it did not take much to piss me off. I personally am a nicer person on T. It is easier to restrain yourself from being physically abusive than it is to restrain yourself from being verbally abusive. YMMV

If there is such a thing as an Eunuch Calm, I hope I experience it sometime during my life. Right now I think Eunuch Calm is just the reduced horny-ness and changes with age.

I am calmer since castration in that I no longer have within me that raging fire of testosterone-fuelled horny feeling, and I'm content because I'm where I wanted to be as an asexual man. That said, I get as angry now about the same things that made me angry before I was castrated, such as racism, cruelty and anti-social behaviour, and in those situations I am certainly not a calm eunuch!

We have much in common. I also get very verbal without T. The darkest colorful metaphors exits my mouth which irritates my conscious very much, being a Christian. I also feel like I can rip someone's head clean off his shoulder with my bare hands who irritates me. Without T, I experience a full blown PMS.

Injecting 1CC T every 2nd week keeps me righteous and holy.
