A little gay joke...
Just thought I'd liven this place up after the gay marriage thread... I about fell on the floor when I heard the following:
"If God didnt want us to put things up our asses he would have given the rectum a gag reflex..."
Now all I need to do is find a KKKristian to say that too.

Re: A little gay joke...
mention the fact they spent a lot of time on their kneesHave you guys thought for even one minute about the poisoning effect such ridicule of others' religions and core beliefs might have on the atmosphere of inclusiveness, acceptance, openness, and camaraderie that have made EA such a valuable resource? Would you think it funny if others posted "jokes" that make outrageous assertions about things you hold dear? Someone with a medical problem requiring an orchiectomy may be here looking for advice for dealing with the aftermath. Do you think he's going to open up and ask for the help he needs if he sees that he's going to be subjected to cruel ridicule? "Jokes" like this aren't funny. They're mean.

Christian? I thought it was now kkkristian.
Sandi made good points. After reading her post I deleted mine right above hers so it wouldn't be construed as ridiculing religious beliefs.

Sandi and Nvrgag44,
If the world has become this sensitive, we're all doomed.
Oh, and I'm sorry I'm persecuting KKKristians. How dare I discriminate against their discrimination. *ugh*
Just once I'd like the world to stop taking itself so seriously and making even stupid shit political.

I agree with you that the world is too ready to take offense. However, the fact that some who call themselves "Christian" discriminate against gays doesn't justify offending others who call themselves Christian but do not discriminate, some of whom are themselves gay. To many who consider themselves Christians, Jesus is God, and the idea that he would have sexual interest in his creation--straight or gay--is considered blasphemy, and these do not all have a KKK mindset. While I have advocated being thicker-skinned (e.g., here: http://forums.eunuch.org/showthread.php ... quot/page2), I see no justification for deliberately ridiculing others' cherished beliefs. My concern is that someone who needs help or support will not get it because he sees EA as a place he is not welcome. Can we be a bit more charitable in dealing with each other?Losethem (imported) wrote: Mon May 04, 2015 3:45 pm If the world has become this sensitive, we're all doomed....Just once I'd like the world to stop taking itself so seriously and making even stupid shit political.....
