I remember a post a while back after the initial migration talking about old stories that were in need of re-categorization before they could be uploaded to the new archive.
Is the story in the thread title still one of those? I enjoyed it and I'd hate for it to be lost permanently.

I'd direct you to the copy of the story on the Wayback Archive but it appears they are using today's robots.txt which says to block the site. We used to be able to see old stories there.
I fear that the story is in the "still waiting to be restored" category here. Not completely sure, but it doesn't seem to be in the active story archive.
As far as I know, all the old stories are saved somewhere, they just need some tweaking (a manual task) before they'll be useable. So that's not the issue.
