Re: Monday, Monday...
For those of us who are retired, one day is just about the same as any other, everyday is Monday or Thursday or ... the only day I keep track of is Sunday and I usually need to check with my computer to make sure.

Been off since last Tuesday due to surgery on my back. I'm off until Thursday morning. Doing lots of tax returns at home, eating too much - especially carbs (there goes my A1C), and generally doing not much of anything. It's starting to get boring. Sometimes, I go sit in my truck and listen to the two-way radio for entertainment.
Re: Monday, Monday...
We had one inch of snow today. Went in town to get a few things, watching the chaos like slide-offs and idiots who can't drive in winter.
Three days off is about all I can take here. Have to go back to work to get some rest.

BIG Yes to retirement.
I too recommend it.
After some months of "decompression"
now if I have two things to do I panic about how will I get them both done.
Friday is the day of the week I keep track of.
People drive crazy on Fridays starting about 2:30PM

It's the Fridays I tell ya

That would be true here too, its starts about 2:30 and by 4 its all over, then again once you get past Pahoa there is no traffic for the last 20 miles, unless you call 3 cars a traffic jam.

Back surgery, ouch. Hope they fixed the problem. Yep Carbs, I just stopped eating bread altogether along with anything made with flour. A1C is going down, I have not had a blood draw that tripped my meter above 180 in months. It is a life stile change thats for sure, more fish less red meat, more vegi's no grains and of course WATER.
Keep up the good fight Kristoff.

Re: Monday, Monday...
Some of us had to work. But since I live in the state capital, it's nice that I didn't have to navigate much traffic.
