Time for some new stories.

It's been a month now since we saw an update for the Story Archives.

Who else thinks it's time for some new stories?

Well, it's ALWAYS time for new stories .

I have one (finally... honestly...!) almost in the can; I hope to have time to submit it for the update after the next one.

I will now commence bribing our awesome story editer / poster by doing some (overdue) kudos in the stories...

... quick, everybody else do the same! cheers, thank-yous, and encouragements to all story-writers. It's the best way to encourage the new stories to be posted, short of showing up at Cainanites house with warm cookies, cold cash, and rare, unreleased super-hero movies

I'd put some stories through the editor/submission page, but for some reason they didn't go through. I started getting some angry emails over the last few days, and realized that it didn't work.

I had not posted to my blog as I usually do. I was trusting that they would just appear on the new story page.

No doubt because I altered my normal procedure, I fucked something up. I tried to find what I had submitted, but there was nothing. I don't know what I did.

They have been resubmitted, but they still are not showing up on the new story page. This time though I made sure to update my blog. You'll find them there.

I'm sure it wasn't YOU. It appears that the posting code has a glitch in it somewhere, leading to the horrible "I'll work when I feel like it" state of computers.

Just as an experiment:

I have turned this batch of stories into an ebook (epub and azw3) and posted it to Sendspace (https://www.sendspace.com/file/s5kjcv).

The file is an encrypted rar archive, with password whisper (lowercase). There are lots of free programs that will decrypt rar archives, such as 7-zip or Peazip.

The sharing link will probably disappear in a few weeks, sooner if the "authorities" tell me this is a bad idea.

If you know someone who might appreciate the stories as an ebook, please refer them to this article (so they have to sign in to get the link).

There are links in each story back to the comment/rating page. Please use it! The authors need to know people appreciate their stories.

It looks like there have been eleven downloads of the ebook. Anyone find it useful, or have suggestions?
