What is funny is that its true, I think the person who set the language stuttered just a little. What is really hard is when you ask someone on the phone for directions, when there done you get the correct spelling of the address and then go to map quest.

However

When you hear the Hawaiian language spoken it is kind to the ear, its not a harsh language like German or Russian, rather it kind of flows softly.

Talking about local languages I know some words and phrases in mayan language as where I live a significative proportion of population speak It. My father speaks some and can understand some when a mayan speaker talk to him but I can´t follow any of their conversation. Mayan languages are spoken by at least 6 million indigenous Maya, primarily in Guatemala, Mexico, Belize and Honduras

Harsh may have been the wrong word, how about hot blooded as apposed to soft like mush?

Don't get me wrong, I hear Hawaiian music and I much prefer Russian, it has passion were as Hawaiian is kinda, well its all played on a ukulele need I say more.

In 1921 Sapir referred to "the insinuating graciousness of Russian." No one who has heard Russian poetry would call it harsh.

I totally agree, why there are parts of America where proper English is not spoken at all but it is a language that is alive with thousands of words being added each year.
